TLDR:
On break at work. Walking around a bit outside. Hatch one egg. Nice. Notice that a 10k egg is about to hatch as well. Cool.
Break is about over, about to walk back inside. Look down at the phone and there's the egg ready to hatch. Click it. Wait... what's going on... That's not a hatching egg. That's a lucky egg. That's... a lucky egg on my screen that I just activated by mistake and now I have no time to evolve anything because I have to throw my phone in my locker and get back into the poker room to deal 3/6 to 70 year olds.
How I managed to accidentally click items, click a lucky egg, and have it sitting there ready for me to pop it by mistake is a mystery. Major bad luck.
And what pissed me off more is that I was legitimately distraught until I realize that this loss was literally 80 cents worth of pokemon EV.
