You have to make sure that you restart the game (force close) after renaming it. It should work every time.

Just evolved 13 or so pokemon with a lucky egg. Yes i know, you're meant to wait till you have more candy but i don't live in the city. This game needs a fix fast.

Also, just curious, let's say i power up my Arcanine as far as it will go and as i level...Is it still possible to catch an Arcanine or hatch one that has a superior CP to the one i was powering up?

Does anyone else freeze literally once per minute? forced to reload, usually 100% of evolutions require a reload, about every minute walking or running I have to reload, the usual pokeballs that freeze i get those too but theyre minor compared to the rest.

Install GPS status and toolkit. Reset and reload GPS.

Pretty sure there are 6 that aren't released yet and there are 4 that are specific to regions so you'd have to fly to 4 separate areas to get all Pokémon and you'd still be missing 6

Trained up a lvl 9 gym with a 900/1000/1000 jolt/flare/flare as its first 3. When I took my 1280 vaporeon against it, I only got 330 prestige for beating them. When I took my 560 sandslash and beat the first two, the gym went up by a 1700! Lesson of the day, keep your weaker evolves that can be counters in training

So I rollerbladed to softball yesterday while keeping the app open the whole way, a distance of 8km according to google maps. Caught like 10 pokemon and had about 15 pokestops along the way I managed to get (could have been about 30, but I didn't slow down or go out of my way).

Anyway, I only got credit for 1km distance on the way there and 2km on the way back. Anyone else finding the distance thing broken?

Issue that i see with distance is if the app isn't open or your screen times out it seems not to count.

I did and was having the same problem. When battery saver would kick in the screen would no longer respond and I would have to kill the app and restart. Turning off that option fixed the problem. Now it runs through a charge much quicker but I don't have to restart every 5 minutes.

Finally got a pickachu last night. Even though it had low cp less than 200, it was the hardest so far to catch. Broke out 5 times, went through 20 balls. Was expecting it to run away. Not the best stats, but I'm happy
