There are a few people that I don't love raiding with for similar reasons. My favorite situation though is where I think my wife and I went on another person's **** list.

Probably a few weeks back, after all the "don't press okay" hysteria died down, we were at a raid with local very active high-level instinct player we had seen on a bunch of gyms (wife and I are valor/mystic respectively). At the end, somebody asked if we cared if they pressed okay, which nearly everyone at the raid said was okay and which my wife somewhat loudly labeled a superstition. This instinct started muttering under her breadth that some people still believe it and was visibly angry from that point on (I guess she didn't catch it and blamed us?).

After the raid the group is deciding where to head next and we all decide on a Lugia up the road. Instead of going with the group, the instinct leaves the group and goes to a different Lugia that is further away and that doesn't seem to have anybody going to it and starts making requests for people on the local discord to go there. Of course since we have a group, and not just one person, going to our Lugia, people attach to our group (ours was more central to our city too, so it was just easier for players to get to). It was the end of the evening and I don't think anyone went to their raid and most people tied up their day of raiding with our group.

What has been tilting me the most is when we set a launch time online, we are more than enough to do the raid at said launch time but someone always seems to have a friend who is just "about to arrive", it usually takes only one nice ****er who's got nothing to do after to say "of course we can wait for him" and then nobody will dare to say anything and pretend like it's fine. Always turns out that the friend who was supposed to be at the next block was actually 5 kilometers away. then you'll have to quit because one guy was bugging and couldn't get in and eventually it takes you 25min to launch a raid

Locally we have taken to setting hard start times after which no one is allowed to get mad. It isn't perfect (once we set a hard-start of 640p and a dude messaged at 639p and some seconds to try and get us to wait and then got mad at us when he arrived at 646p and we were done, for example), but most people don't get terribly peeved about it if they know they missed the hard-start. To mitigate the damage we usually keep the stragglers tuned in to wherever we are heading next.

Also, I now have an EX pass for this Thursday at 700p Central. Will write a quick trip report upon completion of said raid.

I hit my ex raid at 2 minutes before the pop and there were already 40ish people there, grouped by team. It was way more than I expected, given I'd only heard 3 or 4 people speak up on discord etc.

So my first Mewtwo EX raid went pretty well, but not all experiences at this location were great.

Our group (Mystic) was pretty organized. One of our local L40 guys was our gathering spot. First 30+ minutes was us trying to tear the gym down before the hatch to get gym control. No such luck, but it was fun to try. More experienced players were squaring away the less experienced (I personally went through two other pokedex to select the best counters). One of us went in to "solo" the raid so that we could determine the moveset of the raid boss beforehand. I don't remember the quick move now, but the charge move was Shadow Ball, so I mobilized my Tyranitar army (5 L30+ B/C, with an 3400-ish Dragonite as my 6th).

We had 17 people and pretty easily convinced our group to split. The lower-levels and the people that needed to leave went first (about 8 total) and multiple (like 5) higher level players went in with them and got them to a point where they couldn't fail, after which the higher-level players dropped off and joined the second-wave.

In the second-wave, we mowed Mewtwo down easily with 9 people. Our core was like 4 of us at L39+ (I was in this core), while the rest were around the mid-30's. We could have dropped down a player or two and still made it no problem. I think I got +11 on premier balls because of not getting gym control and still only delivering +2 on damage due to how many players we had in our raid party.

Other groups weren't running so smoothly. My wife (Valor) told me that Valor wouldn't go in without EVERY SINGLE VALOR going at once. Their raid party was like 17 people total, which dropped their damage to +0 or +1. My wife ended up with +10 premier balls and caught Mewtwo on her very last ball.

Instinct also apparently had issues organizing and people didn't want to split even though they were apparently over 20. I don't know much about the specifics of what happened in their grouping though, but I do know that some people were getting heated.

Regarding the capture, Mewtwo was pretty easy. I had watched quite a bit of analysis on his attack moves and could threw greats on him pretty easily. I got him pretty early on too, 3rd ball, so I didn't even have to waste many of my precious golden berries.

Best part is in the picture below though!

Yup, got a hundo! I knew it was a 100 IV too, so it was a bit nerve-wracking, and I didn't tell anyone until I caught it. Already dumped a bunch of rare-candy in it and powered it up some (and will be doing more from this upcoming dust event).

Has anyone by any chance tried to buy a boost on flame accounts : https://www.flameaccounts.com/package
I'm considering buying a few 100% tyranitars and dragonites. It's seems incredibly cheap when considering all the time and effort it would take to hatch and raid tyranitars...I found on internet some people complaining about this website not being professional and even some saying it's a total scam. But mainly coming from people who bought accounts which seems much more risky than buying a boost on your account but I don't know... I know not much about pokemon go cheating. For example in their boost they have the regional package that is catching all regional exclusive which means there cheating tools can go anywhere in the world. How does that not get snap detected by niantic ? They have a package also all eeveelutions at 100% without the rename trick which implies there cheating tools take catch any eevee at 100% iv because you need to catch a lot more than 6 to get them all without the rename trick.
Basically how big is the risk of perma ban if I just buy a few 100% mons ?

I wouldn't go anywhere near that site or anything similar. Never give out your login info. Even if their "service" is legit, they spoof on your account to catch Pokemon. Extremely high chance you'd get soft-banned and most likely perma-banned. Not worth the risk.

100% pokemon are nice to have and something to keep grinding for but in the grand scheme of things they're overrated in this game right now. In the old gym system they were more valuable.

false, only need to catch 5.

you can determine iv's before catching it.

catch the 3 original evolutions already at 100%. catch 2 more eevees at 100% and then walk the 10km each to get the last 2.

there are tons of scanners around the world, 100% are rare...but compared to the size of the world, not that rare.

also, you'll get banned.

Yea I know iv's have very little impact in battle performance but 100% iv's obession have nothing to do with battle performance.
This game plays right into my weaknesses. I don't know if it's perfectionism or some kind of collector mental disease. I never researched anything about this because it never interfered with my life until this game came out.
Basically you could give me right now 3 T-tars with bite/crunch and 3 others with bite/stone edge all maxed out, all at 97.8 iv's and I still wouldn't feel "complete" I still would feel the need to go grind forever until I can replace all 6 with the same versions at 100%

You mean at like 100% odds ? If it's more of a flip I'd be more willing to take the risk. Because if I don't get banned it's cool and if I do get banned it could be the best thing that happens to my life. It would save me a ton of time and by extension money and it would allow me to move on with my life and face whatever I'm trying to escape with this crazy world in which you chase living things to make them fight for you.

Absolutely. Don't give out your login information, that would be so shady. Not to mention there are other ways of getting 100% mons. Most areas have some kind of scan/map system set up that they will give you access to for a fee. Then just go get your own high IV's without giving away information. Probably cheaper than this creepy site too.

on my way to a mewtwo raid, catch rate seems really high. let's hope I'm not the poor sucker that can't bag one with a 30% rate over 10 or however many balls I'll get. Pokemon Go

gonna get there early to see if I can take the gym, then I'll just feed golden berries (I have like 95) until we start lol.

It has now been a month since EX raids started and we still haven't gotten them with any level of increased frequency. Austin had a couple of rounds of Mewtwo raids on successive weekends, but that was it. The last 10 days have been pretty quiet.

Already have 5 Entei, including one at 96 IV. Only +13 Attack though, so basically the worst 96 possible, but I am still super happy about it. The wife and I will probably smash the Entei raids tomorrow and do like 10 of them. I am hoping to get to my goal of a full-page by tomorrow and then work on rebuilding my golden berry pile (I have about 100 currently) over the rest of the month using my freebie passes.

I am otherwise prepping to hit level 40. I have over 1 million XP into level 39 and thousands of multiple types of candies just burning a hole in my pocket waiting for a double XP event. If Halloween ends up being double XP and I can make it up to about 2 million into the level by then, I'm pretty sure I will be able to make up the remaining 3 million between evolutions, catching, and using a metric ton of lucky eggs.

nsight, when you say you have thousands of multiple types of candies, how many ****ing common pokemons do you have sitting there taking up space?

I tend to stack a bunch of pidgey/rat/weedle candy, but then at some point I start to keep them as I catch them and eventually evolve.

I can't imagine getting to thousands of candies for any common pokemons without getting tired of staring at hundreds of ****ing pidgeons in my recent tab...

I might have exaggerated a bit, but I have 2200+ pidgey candy (and about 100 ready to evolve the moment an event starts), 1000+ rattata candy (maybe 20 sitting there ready for evolve), 1300+ eevee candy (probably should start saving some of these guys to evolve spree with), and probably around another 1000 spinarak and ledyba candy, and probably around 600 more caterpie/weedle candy. That isn't including a bunch of other small things that I have just 5 or 6 evolutions worth of candy for, which are numerous. Just with my current numbers, any double XP event would be worth about a million XP with just my current stockpile of candy assuming I evolve it all.

I am just working on boosting these numbers so that I can sustain near continuous evolution sprees during whatever the next event is. I think I have 140 or 150 just sitting ready for any event for evolution though.
