Never mind, the GPS has been pretty stable after the initial drifting. Still getting some occasional drifting after the alleged drifting fix update tough, which I don't mind at all.

I just gym down from level 6 to level 1 and now the gps is putting me across the other side of the road and the gym is too far away despite me standing basically on where the gym is located. Its stayed the same for like10 minutes. So tilted

I got SEVEN 10K eggs today in like 8 hours, that's a record for me. And not a single "bad" hatch, although the babies are in "meh" category now. Two lees, a chan, Snorlax, Omanyte, Smoochum and Magby.

Still, no Scyther, which was my last two 10k hatches, or Onix or Pinsir, so I was happy. Also had three 5k hatches that didn't make me want to throw my phone for a change (Grimer, Lickitongue, and Pichu), and about half my 2K hatches were starters.

I'm going to cut down to once a month for these trips for a while, barring special events or the release of Gen 2. There's just not a whole lot left for me to accomplish, and I've been using one of my weekend days every week for quite a while now, I feel like I should be doing some other stuff.

Damn, people are still playing this? Maybe i should re download.

Finally hatched a Lickitung today. Closing in on level 30!

Haven't hatched many eggs lately. Hatched 5x5km eggs today. Nidoran, nidoran, ekans, ekans, paras... FU!

I hit level 32 today and I'm losing motivation to play. Just getting a bit repetitive. I still haven't hatched a togepi or cleffa and I do want to complete the dex but even when I hatch a togepi I gotta walk a **** ton to get a togetic and I dunno if I can be arsed.

Where the **** is gen 2

Heard a rumor (unconfirmed mind you) that there will be a Valentines promotion that will include SOME gen 2. Not sure if it's true or not, but, if it is it will get me motivated to play again, I hit 30 and just went into meh mode. There are only so many of the same mon you can get before it just gets annoying.

I dont really mind catching pidgeys etc but having to hatch 5k after 5k egg and just get goldeens, paras and meowths all the time is just so tiresome

Yeah any gen 2 added would probably get me back in but rn i dont know if i can be fussed getting the daily streaks

Also hit 32 recently. I haven't seen an interesting pokemon for months though, just sort of playing a few minutes a day during the commute now. October maybe was last time I saw something popup and had that excitement.

(maybe exception for Santa Pikachu. that was interesting)

Probably around the time the trackers went down whenever that was. Trackers up meant I could go find interesting rarer pokemon. No trackers mean i get absolutely nothing except commons. The built in tracker with the pokestops has been worthless for me.

I've never come across anything rare just by chance.

Remaining goals I care about :

-Find a goddamn lapras (only mon missing)
-Walk enough to evolve Togepi
-Find/Catch dratinis to power up my dragonite

That's it really. Thinking about it 3 months ago if i was at home i'd go out for all kinds of pokemon that poped up on the tracker : poliwag, magikarp, abras and bunch of other pokemons i couldn't care less about now. I think right now there may be about 5 pokemons I'd go out to catch

This is where I'm at. Hatching egg after egg is getting meh. I only need Lapras, Magby, Cleffa and Togepic. Which mean 98% of 5km eggs are useless. Even the ones with connections to Gen2 (Bellsprout, Polliwag, etc) I either have a decent number of candies or see them enough in the wild. So hatching eggs just to hope I luckbox a 10km/2km and then luckbox a good rand from those is meh. Think I'll stop using non-free incubators, but will still play a decent amount.

haven't played this game in 3 weeks. only 4 gyms currently held. down to only 8 revives with no desire to get more. Is this really the end?

How do you still have 4 gyms after 3 weeks? If i put 4 pokemon at the top of level 10 gyms id be lucky if any were still there the next day

depends on the gym. I have 3 that have held a gym for about a week. Other gyms will be dethroned immediately. The higher level of gym helps for two reasons. The obvious reason is that the take longer to dethrone, the less obvious reason is they are less enticing. If you come across a level 2 gym, you might think "oh, this won't take long" and you can take it down in 5 minutes max. If it's level 10, a lot of players won't want to "waste" time and potions to bring it from level 10 to level 9.

There's a threesome of players (on a different team) that hold the closest dozen or so gyms to me. All of them are high levels and if/when they are taken down, the threesome will have it back up it a day, maybe two tops.

Yeah the two nearest gyms to me have been blue and level 10 for at least 3 months. Still cant be asked to take them lol but I'm sure if I did it would last 10 minutes and its not worth the effort

Kinda. My point is for a lot of players, myself included, if I haw 5 minutes near a gym, and it's level 2, I know I have enough time to take it down and claim it. If it's level 10, I clearly don't have enough time, but I'm also not going to bother battling it for 5 minutes to maybe take it down a single level.

Me giving up the game lasted long. Hatched 14 5k eggs and 4 2k eggs today. No effing luck.

Yeah, I'm probably about to crack. Staring at nine 5k eggs with only one in a chamber is sad.

The event's gonna be much better than I anticipated. Hopefully I will be finally able to catch that elusive Chansey.

Already have multiple chanseys and cleffas. =( double candy for walking pokemon is helpful I guess.

6 hour lures is pretty sweet. i probably still won't buy any, but may actually get to take advantage of other people using them.
