Is there a way to zoom the map out further so I can see if there are gyms or pokestops in my town? I live in a development that isnt a high traffic area. I did a lap around the whole development with my wife last night (about 1.25 miles) and found 5 pokemans and nothing else. I'm curious to find where its worth it to extend our walk.

To whoever asked how many pokemon you can evolve in 30 mins, a math reddit link was literally posted a few above yours. It's something like 60-65 evolutions max

I'm not even sure what the revives are for. I've lost a few gym battles and my pokemon don't even faint, they come back at like 1 hp and I just use potions on them and they're fine. Maybe it's bugged right now. Either way, you don't really need revives unless you're planning on doing a lot of gym battles.

Really annoys me both at work and home there's a Pokéstop just barely out of reach from my couch/desk.

Also super pissed I accidently transfered my best pokemon and don't think there's a way to undo. Oh well

No deaths, but there has been a pretty serious car accident due to someone playing while driving. Overall, these things will be outliers.

I'm pretty sure I saw that last night. I have a Pokéstop at an old church on top of a hill, secluded and not well lit, one way in and out. I saw it lured around 11pm and I was like "No thanks."

Niantic crowd sourced all of the current locations for their previous game Ingress. They stopped accepting submissions well over a year ago. They haven't made any indications if/when they'll accept new locations for Pokemon Go.

No, it's hardly locked down at all.

The beauty of the gym-game is that the balance is heavily in favor of the attacker. Any little bit of damage you do is cumulative. It is much easier to take over a gym than it is to defend.

Just keep hammering away.
