walking evee is good since you have a decent vaporeon

Having the opposite problem of most.. all my eevee turn into vaporeon. Last 5 have been and I have no good electric so all I want is a jolteon with thunder. Have only got 3 jolteon out of 25 or so evolved eevee and none has thunder

Also have nearly 200 ultra balls which is annoying I never see anything to use them on.

I often use ultras on pidgeys.

Has to be some kind of mutant pidgey for me to use anything but a regular ball on those. I actually did last week when a CP 478 (30- 40 bigger than I'd ever seen) one appeared but now it'll take a 500+ to make me go great/ultra.

I don't live close to any pokestop, so I just use whatever balls I have left down to like 10 ultras. I refill when I study at my university library 1-2 times per week.

This isn't really a problem because Jolteon blows. I'd rather have no Flareon/Jolteons and all Vapes.

He's quite useful for certain prestiging situations.

My history with 10 km eggs have been horrible (Onixes ja Jynxes mainly) but it seems it was simply Dr. Oak testing me an my endurance and patience (just got to level 28 today, Pokédex at 126 now) have just been rewarded: finally got first Lapras and Snorlax from two consecutive eggs, both with good IVs and movesets too.

I got my first Snorlax from an egg yesterday... but caught two in the wild already. Still, this one did have a good moveset and good IVs, and Snorlax is my favorite pokemon, so it wasn't a total loss. However, I still haven't caught/hatched a Lapras and I am halfway into level 29.

I hatched a Snorlax today despite having caught one (and only one)in the wild already.

One thing i don't understand is that I have 35 snorlax candies despite this being my 2nd snorlax only

you get a lot of candy from 10km eggs

just hit level 28 and still no snorlax for me

Holy crap, and just a day after I catch Snorlax in the wild too ("strong" IVs, CP 1615).

An yeah, a good Jolteon (i.e. has Thunder) is great to have, I use one at battling and training almost as much as my best Vaporeon: typically I start with the Jolteon and right after I've fired out Thunder I switch to Vaporeon to take the potential charge move damage, rinse and repeat, works like a charm. Plus I have one low CP one (1000 or so) which is really great at training as it destroys hose typical CP 2000 Jolteons easily yielding great amount of gym XP.

Have you tried with the new gym training system? Or are you specifically talking about attacking enemy gyms?

I have over 700 eggs hatched. I buy incubators though and have spent $420 on the game so far, but still to give you an idea of hatches.

I've hatched 4 Snorlaxes, 5 Laprases, somehow 0 Dratinis or Lickitung. Hatched my first Porygon after about 530 eggs.

My Pokedex is at 140/142 now (missing only Ivy and Venusaur, but only 113/125 candies now for both of them.) I have 11 Laprases, 10 Snorlaxes and 8 Dragonites though thanks to trackers when they were active. Recently got to Level 29. I know there are some Level 30s with like 50 Dragonites mostly over 3000 or 2700 which is nutty so I'm not even that high tier atm.

My bag and Pokemon storage have been hovering around 980-1000 the past couple days too. I just don't know which Pokemon to get rid of. I'm too attached to too many things. I have about 40 Raticates with Hyper Beam and can't let them go... it was hard enough throwing out the other 100 that didn't have Hyper Beam.

Tough game.

In general, haven't really had time to train after the new update so can't really tell how the dynamics have changed in practice.

I just hatched my first Snorlax as well. Would have preferred a Lapras, as I still don't have one and I caught a wild Snorlax, but was still one of the best hatches in ages.

My other 10k was a Pinsir. *sigh*

good lord.

so you send the pidgies to the blender, and now you gotta catch more so you can evolve them? no way you keep many pidgies, right?

just checked, I have 4 jolts with thunder. I've deleted probably 10 that didn't have it and maybe one or two that did and were only like 1100 or something.

pisses me off something vicious when I get a random 740 or whatever eevee and already know what's popping out of that evolve...honestly though, I don't really need vapes or flares either, how many could you really need? unless you're dead set on taking down a gym and have no revives or potions (which at this point, how would that even happen?), a handful of each with good moves is fine, I just like the suspense of not knowing what's gonna pop up...

I had enough to do an immediate evolve session once I got the 25 lucky eggs. I haven't bought any extra bag or pokemon space and the 25 eggs was the first thing I've bought in the game. I evolved ten new Pokemon (Blastoise, Victrybel, Polywrath, Omaster and such) in the session along with 8 Arcanines (all from 840-900+ Growlithes) and 10 Eevees. Went from 104 to 114 in the Pokedex and since have hatched four 10k eggs as well (Jynx and Electabuzz both new to hit 116 in Pokedex along with Kabuto and Pinsir damn it). Still no Lapras, Aerodactl, Snorlax, or anything from the Dratini family.

Just hit L28 after my second evolve session since buying the eggs.

To go along with WG's earlier post, I'm curious what people thought's are on what Pokemon they transfer? I'm starting to get to the point where I have lots of 1k+CP pokemon, so now I've just starting transferring any final form pokemon under 1500CP unless it's close and they have a decent move set. It feels weird, but I don't see the point of holding onto those 13xx-14xx that I'll never use.

You can throw those 1400 dudes at the first round or so of a gym battle before trashing them to save a potion, but that is pretty nitty.

sitting on 23 lucky eggs you can't use for a hella long time meanwhile still sitting on the original pokemon cap and bag space cap seems awful.

its gonna take you a really long time to use all those eggs. bag space and storage upgrade are a big quality of life upgrade that would be useful now.

especially once you do more evolving, so you can keep some of your upgrade and still have cap room to store more to be evolved.

Not a bad idea if I want to train/battle and am low on potions.

I'll get a bag upgrade in a couple weeks or so when I get to 200 coins.

I've been getting along fine so far with a 350-bag that making room for 23 eggs isn't a big deal.

I think adding pokemon storage isn't as important as most people think it is. If you are getting close to the 250 cap, you probably have ~100 that are useless and could be transferred.
