I never do gyms/raids and recently realized that I can get the legendary birds by doing quests. Caught Zapdos the other day, my first legendary

sweet maybe ill get enough to evolve it... Im still trying to get all of kanto, should hit lvl 35 real soon. I have enough candies for like 4 lucky eggs saved up.
lavatar almost as rare as dratini.. I think i have enough to evolve that and make a dragonite now.

lavatar is 3 stage evolution correct? i just hope i get enough for first stage, that would be great!

Just hit level 35 and I have 9 TTars, not really sure how you can get close to level 35 and NOT have at least one.

because lavatars are so rare that i dont even have 25 candy yet. I think i have found 2 so far. I live in las vegas, desert... Dratini super rare as well, i have finally gotten enough candy to evolve to a dragonite. And i got some of those candies from an event (i think it was egg hatching).

And i didnt know about gen 2 cos the game doesnt call it gen 2, all the generations in the game and game announcements are stuff like Kanto region (gen 1).. Hoenn region etc. i dont remember the others but other Japanese sounding regions. Nothing in the app has ever said we are releasing gen 2 or gen 3, just pokemon from some region have been found.

I hit 40 a couple weeks ago and I wouldn’t have a Feraligatr if Croconaw wasn’t one of the original L1 raid bosses.

I played hard for the first two months it was out, then quit. I just started playing again and **** me it is addictive--they've really designed it well. It's also past the point where I was as a kid (I played first two gens) so I'm discovering pokemon I'd never heard of, which is entertaining as well. Those new exeggutors are hilarious.

Hit level 37 and got a shiny Ho-oh today. They've done a pretty good job of keeping the game interesting via special events, new varieties of Pokemon, etc.

man i only went hunting for new pokestops twice this event and man did you rack up the xp. I could have easily got level 40 if i wasn't so lazy.

I don’t know what these kyogres catch rates are but Jesus this is maddening. 5 raids, 0 caught (I missed the boat on him when he was first raidable so I still don’t have him)

It's the same as most other legendaries, 2 percent base, but he's much harder to hit, and to get great or better hits.

Meh.

Couldn't bring myself to catch pokemons over watching world cup so only had 1 hour to grind. 30ish larvitar caught, only one shiny 193 CP with poop IV.

Caught a couple 775 CP's though who will be handy with double rock move.

Already jelly of all the shiny tyranitar i will see in the gyms

only got 2 shinies and i grinded for the whole 3 hours. Both rubbish ivs.

An unown spawned in the park i was playing in though, was cool to see like 100 people rush to catch a pokemon again.

guess i ran okay i only played for 2 of the 3 hours and caught 13 shinies. also caught a 100% IV regular one i max'd out to go with my other hundo, and a few others with 15 attack

you're gonna be attacking with tyranitar so just keep strong dark & rock types. don't mix the moves.

Have your top 2 tyranitars with one bite/crunch and one rock smack/stone edge. This way you'll have elite options vs mewtwos and fire/flying pokemons.

rock tyranitar would have been elite to fight all the legendary birds for example
