Ya I saw my first obvious cheater in death cam in FPP today. Hasn't actually been a big concern of mine in this game compared to others, but I'm told they mainly play TPP.

I was able to play some games earlier today with no cheaters, but now there is cheaters in every game. sux

how is it 2018 and there isnt the near elimination of cheating in online games. i dunno why but it seems like something that isnt dynamic and would be easy to stop or detect.

I was playing on the test server, on the normal servers i havent had the problem. Not sure whats going on with the test server but some ppl think its where cheaters test their new cheats or something because its impossible to play there.

The game director says that the guys making the cheats are really clever, doing all sorts of very intricate stuff to access the game.

they should make it so its tied to your personal ID like a poker account. you need to have confirmed id via passport or something.

id pay $20 a month for premium servers in ADDITION to their regular servers that you are forced to confirm your ID and are limited to 1 account. there would be way less cheating etc and would be so dope. no idea why they dont offer this option too.

or if the world didnt suck, free per month and PUBG should create special servers that require verified ID 1 account max etc. Could you imagine? apparently this is how they do it in Korea for a number of their MMORPGs.

it wouldnt even subtract from the playerbase as it forces absolutely nothing on its regular users/regular servers. no fees or changes for them at all.

the only possible reason i suspect they dont do this, is because they dont want to admit how ****ed their game is in terms of how many hackers exist and are banned monthly/daily. or perhaps they believe it would alienate the poors that cant afford it and they would feel like they were stuck with the scum hackers on their regular old servers.

I was told of free PUBG via Mobile platorms.

I downloaded it via Bluestacks on PC, and also on my Mobile device.... On PC (Bluestacks) I used Mouse/Keyboard...it felt like a major advantage vs players on mobile touch screens. It was hard to not get kills when I found an opponent.

Especially driving around a vehicle at top speed simply running people over, was basically effortless, I got multiple chicken dinners... *shrug*

Haven't played the paid version of the game and I'm sure it would be 99% more difficult playing vs. majority with same controls as me, the game kind of felt broke when I can use Mouse/Keyboard vs. people playing on mobile.

Running into a mobile device player was obvious, they just stand still and try to aim/fire, with mouse/keyboard I could move/lineup shot. Not sure how the devs close that gap.

I also played a couple games on mobile and I did ok, still got a couple kills but the advantage was clear using Bluestacks/mouse/keyboard over mobile.

If I figure out a way to use my PS4 controller in Bluestacks/PUBG Mobile, I feel like I would be an unstoppable force in this version of the game. Mouse/Keyboard was ez mode, but get me PS4 controller configured to my requirements in the same setting, it would be God mode.

All that being said, it is amazing being able to play this type of game on a mobile device, I can't even put into words how refreshing it is to see a true GAME on a mobile device.

I was playing in a squad with my IRL bro, he used his Mobile Device the entire time, My setup was PC/Bluestacks/PS4 Gold Headset, he was using a Galaxy S7
(my galaxy S5 ran the game better than my overpowered PC lol except controls on PC was better.) We were able to voice chat in game despite the different setups. Pretty crazy mish-mash of devices and it all worked flawlessly for communication, he was putting up a ton of kills too, so it made me feel maybe there wasn't such a skill gap between setups. I just felt it was easier with mouse/KB.

I believe this will push mobile gaming in a much needed new direction away from the bull**** we are all currently used to.

Of all the free mobile games out there, this app delivers a fresh experience worthy of a (huge 700mb) download/try.

When you start on mobile you play vs bots.

I have played some Ring of Elysium the last days. Its a carbon copy of PUBG but with more of a cartoony playstyle. The game is responsive and fluid though unlike PUBG. I think the cartoonyness will make it more of a competitor to Fortnite tbh even when everything else is similar to PUBG.

The new mini royale Sanhok map is goddamn amazing.

It plays like a brand new game now imo. No more slow middle game. I don't think ive used a car or bike once in the last 20 games. Due to the noise and pretty much you can run to the circle 100% of the time, its so ****in easy now i LOVE it.

Oh and M24 snipers are quite common/uncommon now as a normal drop, no longer airdrop. So the pesky airdropped AWM guy you can compete against prettttty easily. Killed off the Karsk bolt action tho. Not like snipers are even THAT great on this map. They are good, but not OP.

Also the loot? THE LOOT! I can get pretty much fully kitted now in like 5 mins or less. Even the "low end" buildings are utterly STACKED with the best guns/armor/gun attachments. Oh yeah theres new guns.

Also, all the towns in Sanhok are quite small, no BIG cities. Not a lot of camping, squads move from small town to small town.

Anyway, I've played quite a few and its ******ed how much action you get now. Since everyone is so close together and the map is so small you can hear like, everyones gunshots. (within reason) the map is still large enough you can play it safe somewhat.

Getting good at controlling recoil on guns has helped me tremendously. To do this ive been just playing solo dropping far away from everyone and practice auto spraying into walls at different distance til the circle or a player kills me. Even if this helped me 10% it was worth it. AR spray is so much harder to control then SMG.

Its like they took MOST of the bad parts of PUBG and removed them and replaced them with this glorious map. Ill never play the old ones again.

to me before pubg was like 7/10. fun but had issues. now its honestly a 9/10 ive been playing it so much the past 2 days.

I play on xbox, the desert map is pretty bad imo. Doesnt help that it takes ~30seconds for the buildings to load when i hit the ground. Sanhok seems really cool, it should be on xbox this summer but the way they are handling the xbox version is so awefull.

Dying to someone who just sits in a house the entire game is less fun than getting stacked by a nit in poker. Sanhok is even worse with this, there's too many buildings and no time to clear. They don't move, they just sit at a door/window it's so annoying.

Biggest thing is avoiding the choke points at circles so everyone doesn't shoot you at once.

Desert map is the best one I think, just gotta accept getting shot in the head from who knows where every once in awhile. Though with squads I prefer sanhok just so a few on my team aren't bitching about not having a different gun.

Not sure how you complain about campers on Sanhok, but prefer Miramar. Miramar is the campiest of the maps by a mile IMO. Try leaving any building in Pecado and not getting shot at by silent campers. Not to mention all the buildings are massive, with 1000 camping spots, and no rhyme or reason to how to clear them.

I like the new map, but am not quite as enthralled with it as some people. I like how it's easy to get 2/2/2 with an AR. I don't like the dynamic weather, since I think fog takes away the best part of this game (long range combat). It seems to be foggy like 40% of the time. I think the pacing is good, but don't think it's that much better than Erangel. Definitely better than Miramar, and a solid addition to the rotation.

Haven't ran into fog once on sanhok yet in 25 games. Pecado isn't that bad though I don't go there anymore--it's usually the middle reds is the biggest camping problem versus and then everyone else is easily avoided *shrugs*. Asians are camping whores though.

Tonight I died on sanhok because some dude was prone in the grass with 50 players left and well he didn't kill me but someone else heard the shots and found me instead. Bad maps encourage snake bull**** like this, that's why I'm hopeful for no more grass maps or just remove proning from the game entirely. Then again they won't remove the god damn red zones.

Yeah its def not 40% somewhere in the 15% range imo. 25 games is just uhhh unlucky/lucky depending how you look at it, cuz its not like 4% chance.

i like the rain personally, its another dynamic variable. the fog i have mixed feelings about, but its interesting. perhaps a little less thick.

yea i mean i play mostly squads on Sanhok so 0 problems with campers. towns/buildings are stupidly easy to clear and in solos just avoid late game buildings and play smert. since they are all small or medium sized buildings 1-2 story and are pretty basic in their design its e z and infinitely better than Miramar.

people proning in solo is eh, yea its lame af, just need to be super careful or it just happens and its unlucky. kinda like stepping on a landmine.

id rather just do squads. it feels like Sanhok is designed for squads lol.

Can anyone break down how I should be playing this? What stuff should I be picking up, and then how should I proceed?

Only thing that works for me is get a decent gun, get to the center of the map, and just wait. It's extremely boring though. I try anything else, and just get wrecked.

Rebind lean keys to something you can hit while moving sideways. v/b/n or mouse buttons are great.

You need to get used to the combat, so dropping hot for a while is a good idea.

Depends what you want to do - plenty of people just enjoy dropping hot and being the "survivor" of that 10-20man drop and play out the game after that.

It's very "choose your own adventure".

Optimal win strat is drop 1km away from the plane to car spawn areas, and then drive another 1km+ to a remote town and loot up until the third circle - then center when the 4th circle sets and play out from there. ( this can be both relaxing and boring, streamers don't do this because they play to entertain and you'll average 3-4 kills per winning game ).

There's a reddit discord server if you wanna play duo/squads with randoms, but do whatever you find fun.

Cooln I've played a bunch and am still bad so we can play sometime if you want. Best thing I changed was inventory to a mouse button so I can equip super fast. Also 2p2 snamuh has been streaming and provides coaching during streams. If you don't play league of legends you prob don't know him but he was top ten in duos on na server before the reset a few days ago. If you wanna dm me I can hook you up with his discord (or anyone else really) and he can give his stream and we sometimes play squads and they would help me etc. Really strong mechanical player vs ninja'esque aim but can really get a beginner to the next level. Just shoot me a pm if you're interested.

What do ppl think of their new "Fix PUBG" campaign? if they deliver man...

i find the games are already so much smoother for me already, but if they can keep this 3 month timeline of extreme improvements to servers and tick rate etc it would really be awesome.

Since the last update few days ago i played 4 games, crashed 5 times. I love playing this game, but **** this game. Sanhok releasing at the end of the month, lol. I still often have to wait minimum 10seconds for the buildings to load when i drop in miramar.

Game is incredibly fun, even in a relatively janky state. It's sooooo much better than it was at launch it's not even close.

I want them to fix stuff like the lobby breaking, frequent server timeouts while in menus, and improve the consistency of the servers. I'm not sure how much they can do to improve early game, just by the nature of 100 player servers. If I drop Paradise with 15 other people, I'd love it to be super smooth... but I don't know if that's possible, even for a company like say blizzard.

One of the biggest issues, especially early games, is that the servers seem to have some sort of memory leak that degrades them over time (after updates/reboots). When they're good, I don't really have any issues with the performance. Sometimes they're just so bad, and they can do a lot to improve that.

I can't remember the last time I crashed. It's fixed for me. I also have no loading problems thanks to the SSD I purchased months ago

i play on xbox, and the game has been working very well for me lately. crashed one out of 8 games last night.
