vehicles seem a little overpowered, especially when the end game is in an open area. increasing the damage they take from gunfire would make it more balanced.

haha, yeah. Just had a chicken dinner, where I had 6 road kills and my friend had 5. The circle ended up in an open field, and with 15 people left we pretty much drove around and ran everyone over. No one stood a chance, lol

Vehicles are definitely overpowered. End game is basically just people in cars. Also game is crashing more and more, last night played squads and someone's game crashed every game

got my first chicken dinner. only two kills but both in the top 10.

i've found it pays to quickly pick a good spot somewhat central in the second circle and stay there for as long as you can.

100%. The end games are really fun because of the terrain, but it's verrrry boring to get there. The map would definitely benefit from having like 3x the number of vehicles and a faster circle.

I'm happy they've stated that they're adding options to queue for specific maps/weather, so that I can queue for sunny erangel.

New map is growing on me some, but it's definitely pretty slow in the middle if you jump to one of the outermost cities and are alone.

I actually think it could be fixed by just having 130-150 people instead of 100.

I hope they add some custom games/different types in the near future. Like having a battleground in just one city with 20 people or something.

got this for Christmas on Xbox. It's as fun as I hoped, even with network lag and getting kicked from games.

Aiming takes getting used to. I guess all FPS games can't be as fluid as call of duty. I hate that the sights jump up and down when strafing left and right

hiya, super new to PC gaming.

Got into watching these FPS on Twitch about 1.5-2 years ago(?)... ARMAIII & H1Z1

Couple Questions please..

1) Can you get a free version of PUBG somewhere?
2) If only pay, is Ebay an option purchasing Steam accounts or is that a scam or something? I see PUBG for $16, some cheaper there but its steam accounts.
3) Do you have to be on steam to play?
4) Will a e6330 8GB RAM + 320GB HD good enough to run this?
5) Whats the best, most affordable, safest & easiest way to set my noob self up?

Dont buy steam accounts on ebay.

There's a few grey market sites that buy in cheaper territories and resell, kinguin.net and cdkeys.com avoid g2a.com.

Yes you have to be on steam.

um is that a dell laptop? Probably gonna struggle depends on the model and gpu exactly.

new map is fun, hadnt played in 8 months and won my 1st game.

its big map but it allows you to kit up easily if its squad, lots of time. i need new pc, runs smooth at very low settings but looks like garbo.

i couldnt imagine playing it on xbox, the aiming would be brutal

Yea im pretty limited to laptops with my current lifestyle. My current setup gets me about 35-40 fps but I am really tempted to get an actual laptop i can run this on at over 60 fps. Obviously id use it for other games and im pretty sure anything running this game at like 70-80 fps is going to be good for most stuff for a few years. Budget is about 1.5k maybe 2.

Depending on where you live you can get a very solid laptop in that range.

I think you need to look for one with geforce 1060 6 GB and i7 core 8 or 16 ram. Should be doable in that range.

here's one from xbox.

picked a spot with great cover against the cliffs on the southeast side of the military island, and got really lucky with the placement of the last few circles. still had to kill a few guys.
