Can't remember the last time I got kicked on xbox, been very stable lately on EU. Barely any issues with rendering either, even in the hot spots.

My game freezes every damn time on xbox. Before update it was like 1 in 15 games mabye. I dont get it. Guess i just have to wait for next update.

They've already made pretty massive tick rate improvements, especially in early game. But you can't fix one of the major PUBG problems, desync, via tick rate. Bad tick rate can make it worse, but the way PUBG is designed, if a dude has 300ms ping and you have 50, then you'll have moved on your side but he won't have seen you move yet. This is how people get shot while behind cover.

It goes the other way too though - if you have low ping and you round a corner you see your opponent before he sees you.

I think, but can't verify, that a lot of the problem is that the client side verifies hits. That's not bad when both players pings are low, but it's bad when one player has high ping. I think it's the source of (some of) the cheats too.

Frankly, I am not that enthused by the "fix pubg" campaign. Most of the things they propose to fix have been broken for 1 year or more, and everyone knew they were broken already. They didn't bother for the last year, I think this is some last gasp lip service, frankly.

I love the game, I play it almost daily, but it has many many problems.

Ring of Elysium comes to the US this september or october I think, that should be interesting.

I learned to play by playing squad games with people with more experience. That is a really good way if you know any folks. I did not read this whole thread - do the people in this thread play together at all? Is there a 2+2 steam group or anything?

There's a 2p2 steam group but it's not just for pubg. I added a bunch of people off it a long time ago.

5 kill chicken dinner on my 2nd game back (got 2nd in the 1st game but didn't have any teamates in squad, got 2 kills in that one). I still feel pretty good even though I am pretty sure the last team died to the circle lol ...

does anyone still play this game, i just login a few hours ago and found the roster filled by almost all bots.. or is there a time i should play to see more players online?

If you're new (or haven't played for a long time) your lobby will be mostly bots. It becomes normal after a while. It happens randomly sometimes too, maybe once a month we'll be in a game with 50+ bots. Normally is 5-10 at most.

Depends a bit on FPP vs TPP, region and time of day. I mean at any given time in the US there are a fairly small number of games going. Definitely see the same people all the time.

yeah... i usually play FPP and i haven't login for more than a year now and just tried it again because i was bored

Also, i just tried again and found more players playing when using the mobile version, not much on PC though. thanks for the tip.
