This spectral throw is starting to come together. Just need another 4l item which could be rigvalds or I may do it as a helm. I dunno! I definitely will need a new weapon though.
You can do races pretty quickly. You don't really have to spend a lot of time on them.
For example, I just played a Ranger to level 13 and so I will get 3 points. Then later there are more races and I can get 2 or 3 more. Then tonight are more races, etc. etc. It'll all add up in the end.
There is no way I'll ever compete for being Top whatever or #1 to do anything. Some guys are incredibly fast. I'll settle for small rewards.
Skip the last node of fire damage. You are way better off with +8% spell damage than a +6% fire damage. (Not saying you should ness take the +8% spell dam but def don't take the +6% fire.) The difference is that the fire damage works with weapon fire. It is worth getting upto firewalker as you obv can't get it without getting the first two +6% fire. The +life is always good. You should decide now if you want to go Eldritch Battery/Chaos Inoculation/Pain Attunement. If not then get all the life nodes you can.
Ok, fix my build. Evasion IR only. I'm taking leather+steel mostly because it is convenient to do so. Dropped all the elemental damage and the solo cold damage stuff since projectile damage >>>>> those two. Found a bunch of room for life and still get all of the major cold nodes from around the world. Maybe should cut the chill duration from Templar but so wambocombo with Breath of Rime.
At first glance I would definitely take the Diamond Flesh under duelist instead of two .4% regen nodes
imo you don't want either.
Haven't taken more than a glance at the tree yet, what skills are you planning to use though?
And although it's ok to use all 120 points, you also need a build that only uses about 80-90 of those points, so that you know your character will come online without you needing to grind out levels endlessly. I've made some builds that were theoretically solid, but only after my character hit lvl 90... not a level I could reasonably reach.

mana is an issue, but im lazy on pots. @ 276 but ive been using hatred so it drops to 110.
Never did a descent race before... Holy **** so much fun. Will definitely make lvl 20+ in the next one... I spent too much time dicking with gear and being too cautious.
Did my first race. Finished at level 12. I'm clearly amazing at races.

I think I finished about the same in the one hour solo last night (level 12 that is). Had to take a 10 minute break in the middle for dinner. crappy drops. I was going bow ranger, since I am most familiar with that, but I think that is a bad choice since they are so limited in what rare drops apply (got mostly shield and non bow weapons for my rare drops.)
OK, wtf is an AI Party race? Tried searching a bit to no avail.

Why would you save points? The only reason to ever save points is if you have a respec planned.
I didn't use any points on my first 12 levels of my scion. Didn't know what I was going to build. The game thought there was a major patch and told me that my passives might have been reset lol
