I think most 2p2ers play nemesis, but the majority of poe players are in softcore.

If you're farming city of sarn, only stick the left wall, this is not only the safest but also the most efficient way to farm here.

Does anyone know what the dominion & nemesis exclusive uniques are?

Yeah it's exactly the same. Never cared about how clunky it was. Still just pick one OP skill and spam the **** out of it with 90% of builds being 100% trash on HC. I just don't get the same urge to play as I do with most ARPGs. I'll beat normal on a new char then stop for a couple weeks. I find it slightly more fun playing with some friends but even then I lose interest quickly.

Just heard of this game today. Played about an hour of nemesis. Got an Orange item Doedre's Damning ring for a Witch. How good/rare is this? Mostly curious if I should leave it in my stash until I learn a little more about the game.

Doedre's Damning is quite useful as you level as +5 all resists is valuable. But it's worth maybe 3 chaos because the extra curse can be extremely strong in specialist builds. I would keep it in my stash if I were you as you'll probably die a few times.

New auras potentially interesting. Running 3 mono-resist auras could be good - you'd need almost no resists on gear, which should let you buy amazing gear, considering. They're 40% reserved each and you can quite easily get that down to ~15% reserved. That gives you space for another aura, like grace or determination.

I think I'm going to try that - wand EK scion and go for pure +phys damage, +life, +armour gear maybe with some IIR if I can find it. Main problem is likely stats to support the gems - it appears that the mono-resist auras are early game quest rewards.

So when does the ladder reset and does that mean everything gets wiped and you start completely fresh?

It reset on 22nd Oct and I think it'll run til Jan 22nd. If you're in nemesis your char will move to HC, if in domination, to SC. Then the new leagues will start afresh.

Oh, so there is like a permanent HC/SC server that gets all the ladder characters dumped into it at the end of each season? That's kind of interesting.

Races for prizes start this weekend too I think. Maybe on Friday.

Yes. You can create a new char in those leagues too if you want. Plus of course if you die at HC you move into SC.

desync this time, ran into a group of evangelists and those jumpers and quickly ran away as soon as they jumped on me, since everything was moving so quickly I ran away but my char stayed.

I'm thinking of going back maybe to spectral thrower, I think it was the safest way to play.

I'm trying to think of a build. As much as I want to try a LA or elemental bow duelist,I don't. :/

I saw a few builds, not quite sure what sounds like the plan.
Spectral throw just seems that everyone is doing it

3 chaos will buy you a really good piece of leveling gear in your 40's or if you get it from the same person, you can buy a whole new set of gear for your 20s. Or, it gets 3 pieces of decent gear to level with.

Also, I so mad. I JUST bought the scion some good gear before it died. Dumped 3c on a double chaos res ring with all res and magic find

1c on int/str imp spell damage all res ammy.

Plus, I had already bought chest/boots/wand/shield.

I was set until almost 60. Oh I mad! I don't wanna play SC, but I should at least get into merciless, so I don't get blind sided.

Ondar's Clasp is less valuable. Maybe 1 alch? It's 2 alchemy per chaos by the way.

Though quick search suggests maybe more than 1 alch. +30% attack speed is good, but the rest is useless so likely holds no appeal to mid-late game players.
