https://www.pathofexile.com/account/...orz/characters googled your name

Uh, dude, you weren't using vinktar's on your trickster. Granted it's ssf so that's forgiven, but your gem links aren't even setup for shock explosions of inpulsa's. You may as well have been using a rare chest.

wasnt worth it to run vinktar was like my first guy that league i had to try and race the others too

i dont have the trade league dmg to remove a 6th link AND a QoL/dmg flask cause you dont wanna die ever at 95+ if possible, while still running T16.

Now if you want to argue that trickster with ele prolif linked and vinktar is faster than elementalist to run middle tier maps or with mirror gear then sure thats very possible. I know trickster is very good and fast. But ele is stupid easy fast at the highest tiers for xp and maps drops, etc while not having to spend much on survivability

I don't know what build to go this season. I usually just start with Arc or Sunder but last season was in the middle of football season and the one before that I was getting married, so I've missed the most part of the past two.

Maybe some Bow starter or something. I usually liked lab runners for my casual ass for a starter to bonk some crazy enchant to fund my builds. Just not sure this time around.

kinda weird theyre still alive and strong with like glacial cascade miners and blade vortex. i guess they want them to have a reason to exist heh. Not like youre gonna use stats sticks while dual wielding normally or with a shield and hitting with it.

I feel like the real problem was the shaper mods themselves but I guess if they dont nerf the way weird attacks that only use main hand then they limit themselves in developing the game differently there too.

Wonder if there will be a global buff of melee skills to make up a bit?

theres a LOT of good ones. A lot of them use the slayer thing because overleech is so good for archetypes that often dont want to go pure slayer.

Like most builds you can think of can be scion right now, with some good and bad sides.

A big boost to scion were the new jewels. unnatural instinct gives you insane value near the crit multi nodes

so scion bv is a thing? is leveling terrible?

yeah its grueling, especially on a first character of a league.

I dont recall how the BV scions did their builds or if its nearly as good as other choices tbh.

And the jewel that makes crit scions insane costs a lot I think?

I enjoyed toxic rain. I used a pathfinder, but trickster looks pretty good too. Stacking slow with tombfist works well. That, plus 6L, quill rain (maybe 6L QR) or 6L fossil crafted bow, dying sun, a +1 arrow quiver, and maybe a Thief's Torment depending on the ascendancy and bow choice are the bigger ticket items to get going. Not too miserable to level either.

After last time, where the balance manifesto left off a few big things, I am not going to pronounce stat sticks for BV safe just yet. It does feel like a straight up big nerf to melee at this point, though.

uh ohhhh

arc nerfs confirmed

https://twitter.com/pathofexile/stat...98279745986561

I thought I'd be sad, but now I feel like I might have a chance at getting top 5 sc trade as saboteur if people are bummed out about playing arc and do something else instead

ps: might actually be very few (or even no! ) changes to Arc, theres probably half of them that are just the letters arc and their twitter is trollin

We see them trollin'. We hatin'.

At least some of those "arc" entries are due to the already-announced ARCtic breath rework: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2254096

Yeah someone pointed out that Delve had 32 arc entries in the patch notes.

i doubt there are any warchief or arcane surge changes this time around tho

odds are its probably a one line nerf like Arc now has X-3 chains or something
Path of Exile Quote

I'd say a one line nerf to arc is pretty likely, but in light of the new totem support gem, they may actually feel the need to alter ancestral warchief.

fwiw i prefer the playstyle of trickster bv even if I dont think its faster than elementalist, at least for experience.

Also, they just nerfed inpulsa from 10% explosion to 5%. Might be huge a big deal, might not be.
