Re: Path of Exile

It's so different than my witch summoner from last season. Here I just run run run kill kill kill. If I get in a tight spot. Run run run away and regroup.

The elemental damage seems to f me up the most. I'm capped, but don't have the nodes that reduce chance of getting lit on fire. Been all damage, evasion, and life.

Re: Path of Exile

What maps did y'all shape? For me:

Jungle Valley
Beach
Channel
Acid Lakes
Mesa
Racecourse
Castle Ruins
Bog
Reef, Promenade
Colonnade

Mesa has horrendous mob density now, would definitely switch it out if I was going to grind T10. Racecourse and Bog are the standouts for me. Good density, no backtracking, bosses drop tons of loot. Castle Ruins and Colonnade were just the result of picking maps that I felt confident fighting the respective bosses since I need those drops in SSF. They're both kinda mediocre. I originally had Mud Geyser for T12, but was getting one shot by the boss a ton with pretty much any mod to him.

Re: Path of Exile

you basically don't want any map drops above t12 besides volcano and abyss and the guardians and the only t12 you want to drop is vault

I have garbage flasks right now.

I used a 40% damage increase
I have +3000 to evasion
Then some life ones that have remove freeze, fire, bleed

What should be looking at for those

flasks are so OP in poe. they're practically cheating they're so good.

yes to the jade flask. 3000 evasion is effectively a quicksilver for you. it should also provide immunity to freeze or bleed or whatever.

40% damage as in a sulphur flask? one of the pros can chime in, but i think you'd be better off with like an atziri's promise for budget or like taste of hate or vinktar's if you're rich.

yeah, dying sun if you can afford it is crazy good for archers.

for your life flasks, it's absolutely critical that they provide instant life restore. then you want them to provide whatever bleed or freeze or stun or whatever immunity you're lacking. nothing wrong with having two of those but one should probably be enough.

Re: Path of Exile

Still on a budget. I have around 150 ch from grinding and finding some decent gear to sell. I will get the Dying sun, its only 100c. Since most of my gear is pretty good, now seems like the time to upgrade to get that flask

Re: Path of Exile

Finally found something worth selling. ID some rare two tone boots 20% to L and F. Had about 80 life and a total of 90? Or 95 resist. Put it up for 375c based on research. Sold it for 5ex

Feels good man

25 MS

Was trying to find one piece of equipment I could upgrade. Everything is 10ex plus

Decided to upgrade gems. Increased damage quite a bit by getting quality 20-23 gems

Re: Path of Exile

the Dying Sun has helped my single target damage. Based on my build, I have evasion high enough that I dont get hit that often.

So on bosses I just put down a ballista as a distraction, hit them with projectile weakness. then get close and hit evasion 100% flask, +3000 to evasion flask, and dying sun, 3 4 5.

Just burning arrow from 1 foot away. I re up the evasion flasks as they run out, and use life when I need.

I'm running level 9 maps now, and haven't had too much of an issue. I got a map with 2 bosses, both dropping lightning bolts from the sky anytime I entered the room, that was a tough one.

Had to run in door, drop siege B, they shoot at that, run to other door, fire 3-4 arrows, then run when the lightning storm hit me.

Took forever, but got that map done.
