Going from warchief to another melee build shouldn't take too many regrets.

Suggestions for a baddie-proof build? Was thinking about going witch minions support. My energy shield experiences have never been good.. I guess MoM is legit on summoner so go mana+life+mom, but from there, whats next? Golems ever get buffed to playability, or do they still just kind stand there doing their thing? Probably zombies have the best uniques? I'd prefer to stay away from the spammy builds like raging spirits, so maybe planning to group is a bad idea (my computer is pretty old).

Golems are super strong, but it's a very expensive build to do properly. Not sure playing any summoner build is great with too old of a computer as, from what I gather, the computer has to do a ton of damage calculations for each individual thing.

A totem build is a similar play style. Also it's super cheap to get going, and with a bit of investment can do anything in the game.

I thought server calculates dmg?

No idea how it works to be honest, not an expert in these things. I just remember reading that they reduced the numbers of SRS as it was causing a bunch of lag due to all the calculations. You're probably right though, it may well have been on their side.

Otherwise you couldn't die to disconnect.

Damage is 100% calculated server side.

It uses pseudorandom number generation, so it can cheat some. Basically the chance stuff happens starts from a random point then happens at a somewhat reliable rate from there. Presumably damage and other rolls are similar, but I could be wrong.

Mapping takes a LONNGGG time. I need one more piece to do atziri I think? The one with the 4 red pieces. Missing the hard to find one. Is it worth it to buy the piece and do a Atziri run? Last I checked it was going for 6 chaos. I have about 50 ish. Still haven't found an exalted

No offense, but if I had to guess you're not ready for Atziri. It's an incredibly challenging fight. You'd waste fragments. Midnight is the rare one.

So what do I do other than mapping? I'm trying to collect the shards off of breaches, but it seems that my ancestral warchief build is reaching its peak.

what level maps are you doing? mapping is the endgame, atziri, uber atziri, guardians and shaper are superduperendgame not reachable for many of us

normal atziri is not really profitable. only the vaal scepter and mortal fragments are valuable.

i'd suggest just waiting until you find a midnight and then run it

Currently I'm around the 9-10 tier thanks to the maps provided by thethethe. Some of the maps are easy, but with certain mods it is difficult. Yes I'm on the 2+2 guild.

Unsure of your build mechanics, but AW Totems can basically do anything. It doesn't have a peak, really. You just don't clear things very fast.

Lab running is pretty easy if you have the right build, like life based + END charges.

Atziri is pretty trivial for it, also. I recommend watching a video of the fight to learn the mechanics, because you might kill just get 1 shot by some aspects of it, if you're not sure what to do.

Uber is doable, but definitely harder, due to the damage output in the fight.

The guardians are all doable, but you'll need to learn the mechanics.

Shaper is even doable, but that fight is just tough for life based builds, and you'll severely need to learn the mechanics there, because it's a ***** of a fight to go into blind. You'll need to read plenty and watch videos of it, or you'll just die a ton.

The reason that I say that I am not sure of the mechanics of your build is because - you can go just hybrid, life based, CI, CI Facebreaker, etc.. Or even evasion based(lol)
I don't know your actual damage, but red (tier 11+) maps are easily doable by you, but you'll prolly need to buy the maps to actually do any.

It's what I ran in the league before Breach. He could do whatever he wanted, but he was mainly an uber lab runner. You can make tweaks to it for mapping/atziri etc.
Believe he had like 8k life and 7 END charges.....
