This expansion is fun.

Anybody who uses shops or who was interested in setting up a shop, but couldn't be bothered to mess around with it should definitely use Acquistion. It's extremely easy and fast to set up and makes maintaining a shop and setting b/o's really painless.

Hardest part of restarting PoE is figuring out which class you want to play. Damn this is hard.

They also nerfed a lot of the tempest mods, and added a 10% item quantity bonus for some of the global mods. Sweet.

Seems sensible. They were way too hard given the content around them.

Also, program is now > 8gb, ramdisk users. Need to reserve 9gb now.

Meh just rippped @72, kinda one shot my self in ~1sec from elemental thorns aura, I even spammed my pots.
At 70 swapped to incinerate block/mom/eb/gr and was rolling, but I underestimated the lack of spell block on me, as I was missing all of the 3 spell block items. Should've got myself Stone of Lazhwar atleast, my bad there...
But yeah, went in party with 2 friends to do Zana daily and its always so messy that didn't notice the reflect untill I died -.-

I got a lvl 60 Ranger around with no points in the passive tree allocated since I stopped playing quite a while ago and it got reset sometime, never bothered to fire it up again.

Any idea on where to look for what to do with him now? Official forums?

Yup. The poe forums is probably the best place to find all the builds.

If you are using bows there seems to be only two main builds for ranger now. The most common of which is ranger into both shadow and duelist. I had a level ~90 crit/phys tornado shot character in beyond a couple of leagues ago that went from ranger to scion (for the health wheel) then shadow.

Does anyone have Zana I can leech off of once to obtain her? I'm level 68 EA in Tempest.

I found the hardest part of that build is actually getting to level 70 or whatever - it's so spread out and doesn't work until you have it all finished. Perhaps the best way is to just get a little of everything and hope overlapping but reduced defences are enough?

This is the leveling tree I used on my first character, downside is you need 35-36 points to respec so around 12-13 regrets, but wanted to be extra safe. First I went up for Path of Savant, then on the right to Harrier and after that rushed dual totems(not sure if its better to just rush dual totems). Then went for totemic mastery/purity of flesh and quick recovery and shamanistic fury for more dps. At any point you can fill up the rest of the scion life wheel if you need the HP and want to be extra safe(after dual totems), at first I only got 3 points there on my way.
Then I went up for Melding and Written in blood, these points seemed inefficient(cos my gear was random, not much energy shield), but I feel they are better than going down the dexterity road to Bravery and Fury bolts.
During my leveling I used Clarity/Herald of Tunder and Arctic armor, as you only kinda need mana to be able to cast the 2 totems right away, or open with curse-> 2 totems, so you don't need much free to play around with.
I kinda went in on every pack and selfcast enduring cry, had immortal call with cwdt too. When I had some links I even put reduced mana on End cry and the 2 curses I used Temp chains/Enfeeble. Also Chaos golem and flame dash. Blind to support flame totem with fire pen in 3 link weapon. Up to act 4 merc I played dual scepter so no shield and I was feeling pretty beefy.
So I guess little bit of everything worked out well I killed (pre nerf)Malach Cruel on 58 or 59, and it was pretty safe kill, tp-d always for pots refill to town, wanted to be safe, fight felt pretty safe too.

Fixing gear after respec took me few hours probably, sockets and resists. I did it at 69 or 70, but points went in nicely down to Testudo, and got mom/gr/eb and enough points up to warriors blood, my plan after was to get the rest of the block nodes. And damn after switching to incinerate(had ~4.2k hp/1k ES) it felt so damn strong really, too bad I died so fast after lol, couldn't farm much currency and wasted all for the build swap, that felt bad :P

Havent played for a bit. Could use reinvite to guild because I have a lot of noob questions.

For example:

Got gear that adds +22 lightning to spells.

So if I use Magma Orb it hits for 50 fire + 22 lightning. Then I use Ice Nova hits for 50 Ice + 22 lightning.

Would speccing Elemental Equilbrium be good or bad in this example and how would the breakdown of that look.

Lv 22 on the tempest (or w/e the HC league is called). First char just for building an economy so not trying to perfect a built or anything but could use tips on where to go from here. Or where I should have gone, mistakes, etc.

Right now just building +Life, +Mana, +Mind over Matter, + Elemental or spell dmg.

Ele equilibrium doesn't work too well in that scenario because whatever you hit will get lightning resist after the magma orb.

New race season starting in a week

I ripped my Guested_Flames flame totem guy last night starting Act 4 Cruel. I'm not sure what those green ghost things do exactly but one possessed that mini-bird boss and it legit one shot me through not sure how much armor and 2400hp.

I've died really fast to damage before in PoE but that's the first time I've ever been one shot like that I think.

It's pretty depressing to die before merciless. Maybe start cycloning tonight.
