Anyone have an idea what random 6 socket things are worth?
I have a white Sharkskin Tunic (level 56) with 6 green sockets, 2 are linked. Is it worth Alching it, then using orbs of fusing if its a good roll? Or is it better to just vendor for the 7 Jewelers orbs?
Found my second unique - Sidhebreath (minion ammy). Guess I need to start a summoner now.
this is on HC?

Get tons of ES, and typically stack it with elemental resists and armor. It's easy to do because the hardest resist to get by a mile is chaos. And CI is essentially +160% chaos resist when you're in merciless... imo it is grossly overpowered, but some people disagree. On a witch, you're giving up only a few hundred health for 160% chaos resist. The tradeoff is so one sided. Even without CI most witches run ES heavy builds.
Not quite. I'm 65 at the moment and running fellshrine. I'm not sure what I'll need to get past A2/A3. I'm estimating I'll have 2900-3000ish HP at level 70 with 1.8k armor self buffed. Resists need some work, hoping to get max resists by then with a few gear upgrades.
I think I am pretty far off from maps stats and level wise. Ran into the most insane golem today in fellshrine. I dropped to 10% HP after he rolled on me + hit me. Another dude almost died too and he was level 70. That is pretty scary for a level 59 zone.
Ok, back to my death point (solaris temple - though I died being an idiot in Marketplace). 13 points to use on the level 32 shadow. So far, it's a boring build (dual strike, trap, blades, clarity enfeeble). Picked up the health not near the start and near the mana leech, with nullification.
I'm tempted to run down to arrow dodging, but probably no quite optimal. I always struggle with the choices.
Did you guys see kripp's new build? The cheese factor is pretty high. It'll surely get nerfed I think because it goes well beyond OP.
He can 100% perma stun anything including act boss. Just watched him kill the merciless a2 boss while the boss did nothing. He just stood there unable to move.
Kripp's aoe damage is also pretty high for trash mobs.
I picked up a broadstroke with 15% stun threshold reduction and 29% increased stun duration. I already had one but the stun rolls on it were lower. I got this new one in case I want to try out a stun build with bows (probably won't work because of skill tree though)
His build is based around having 100% stun threshold reduction because bosses have a very high reduction to stun. He gets most of it from gear and some of it from skills.
He also uses some unique claw that has a chance to convert some physical damage to chaos damage because mobs with energy shield have an extremely high resilience to stun and if you deal chaos damage you can ignore that factor.
Do I really have to reroll? My duelist is struggling at the very beginning of merci (well, a3 cruel was cruel to me as well) and not quite playable without help of groups. I see in the forums opinions about how ranged is better than melee and that duelist is exceptionally weak at the moment.
Sigh. Point is I don't want to reroll without experiencing endgame but I feel it's the only way to reach it.

There is a bow that converts to chaos dmg as well, although it destroys your health I think.
and yes, duelist is the monk of poe. You are screwed. My duelist doesn't have an easy time grinding docks at all, and this is with 80% fire resist.
Count - any other summoner tips? I did go straight for minion instability . Got carried a bit in groups. Picked up 24% life, thinking about going Savant, Lord of the Dead and 2x 3% faster casting with my next 4 points.
Have the zombies and skeletons linked to minion life.
