Depends what you want really. I only really know EU work hour streamers, and almost every single one is awful. The only regular that I like is impaktpt

I've followed some really good players, but the ones who stream in my times have been utter dickheads.

Got a nice bug during a match of KotH. Screen permanently fixed like this after one round going into the next. Restart required to clear it.

I watched a bit of tim and when he is in the zone and not talking and only playing he is actually not bad. Everything else he does is lol tho obv.

I am mysteriously somehow 4-2 in my placement matches. I am sure my team would have lost (was 0-2, and about to be swept in Nepal) if someone didn't just AFK/DC on the other team.

I had one earlier where we had a combined rank of about 500. Other team combined rank was > 1250, and they were clearly premade. It was a bit silly, we got utterly destroyed.

We had a DC in a deciding match on Kings Row when we had maybe 20 seconds left to defend point A. It is very devastating to play 5v6.

I'm still not convinced that > or < 50 means > or < average. Rankings seem all over the board for players I play with whose skill I can put a finger on.

is there any good info out there to getting better at this game regarding hero choice, maps, etc.? The twitchy part of it is just practice but there's a lot of depth that I feel like I'm just not figuring out as well as I should be. The only hero I'm 100% confident I can contribute to a team with is lucio, everyone else I feel like I'm a drag a little bit. I don't practice widow often enough to feel okay with her (usually get 10-12 kills a round and feel I should be getting 20+) and my soldier is meh. I can do winston but he's not good on every map.

Apparently placement matches are much more about your current "hidden" MMR than your record during placement. If your hidden MMR is 50, placement matches will take you to 45-55.

So I guess I did better than expected in placement and got to 50, so my hidden MMR is 48 or whatever.

I feel like I'm better than that, but who doesn't? The moral to the story is, solo queue Mercy is a bad idea.

For hero choice, I think all you can do is get decent at a hero, one at a time. If you're good with Lucio, play him 1/5 games to keep that expertise, but spend the other 4/5 on one other hero. Zarya is probably the best choice in solo quick match because she is the best for carrying the team. Roadhog maybe good too because he can heal more easily.

Then for your 3rd, play Lucio 1/10, Zarya 1/10, your new one 8/10.

I really need to do this because I basically play mercy 95% of the time as nobody picks healer.

It's interesting to see Surefour's profile at http://masteroverwatch.com/profile/pc/eu/Surefour-2559 as he's the best according to competitive right now.

He has 45% accuracy as Soldier, and a 91% win rate. When I play Soldier a lot, I have 40-41% and a 60% win rate. 10% better aim please world (though I realise there're diminishing returns). Really need to switch to 20% of my games as Soldier. I might literally use a notepad and pen to keep track.
