That was the concern of a lot of people but it has been worked around, you can have an almost limitless amount of commands, you just need to say them, so for example you can say whilst in VR fully in game.
"Computer maximum speed", or "full speed", or maximum impulse etc,
The computer will recognize it and perform a key action, what ever you assign it, corresponding.
The software is called voice attack, I stayed away from it but then spent about 3 hours on it the other day, its only $8 and also has a 20 trail period.
Because I am playing elite and dangerous, I asked what should I know about voice attack and got linked this:
http://www.elitedangerousvoicepack.com/
Watch the videos there to get an idea,
Voice attack is pretty awesome, its worth downloading the trial 20 day. It can output to any program, game.
On action of the command you can have the computer be set to play an audio file, kind of like a confirmation, so think like star trek.
voice attack should be basically be built into modern VR games in the future, and the start of the games build up the commands in the players head. Also our hands are going to be able to be seen in game for touching of virtual buttons.
What is basically happening now is the VR industry is just starting, I'm happy to be in at day zero and be involved, War thunder is so amazing I cant even find time to get into elite and dangerous and it is hugely impressive, war thunder is free.... and its as good if not better in my opinion.
One thing is for sure, gamers are in for a treat, there is no previous comparison of the level of jump, the change, its a generational change, its not a gimmick or a false promise, most any one that puts one on that is against vr or not convinced take it off and all say, wow this is going to change every thing.
The list of people that are working now at Oculus is hugely impressive, they basically have one of the most impressive collection of bright people ever put together towards a common cool goal
In the Oculus Rift Configuration tool there is a demo of you sitting behind a table,
That could easily be a poker table.
