While I don't agree with your "biggest tech since the internet", hey at least you are passionate. Let's hope VR proves to be what you hope it to be. I only tried the DK1, so I'm curious for sure.
Lol - it's not quite that bad, and while I have an OR on order, I'm not so much an Oculus fanboy as a VR-fanboy
I'm pretty realistic (I think) about VR now in the beginning stages and it's not going to explode right away, but over time I'm sure it's going to be really big. Not neccessarily in its current form either, but it's the start of a technology that will be developed and go really exciting places.
There are so many areas where it can be used once the hardware gets good and cheap enough to become mainstream. With better tools for creating content for it - 3d-cameras and whatnot - it'll impact so many parts of our lives. For now it's mainly games, but the potential for entertainment, information, education, business, social interaction and so many other areas is huge.
