Super confused about the PSVR reviews so far, also in combination with PS4pro talk. I have no idea whether to buy one or not, I feel like it just isn't ready yet.

Basically they are mostly saying, its alright, not as good as the others but its cheap so what can you expect. Sony might discontinue but hey, we will have to see. You also can't really walk around with it and its probably best if you just sit down while using it. And game manufacturers have to make the games a minimum of X quality which should make the experience good enough but then there is the PS4Pro which will not be able to run other games then the PS4, just (maybe) a bit better which can (maybe) mean that the VR will be a bit better on that platform as well. I guess I just like to buy things that I'm sure of and I'm just not so sure about the PSVR. The GFX quality of the games I've seen so far seem either cartoony or just subpar.

I'm not saying don't but one, but as a basic rule with new tech version 1.0 is usually A) Not the best and B) replaced somewhat soon with the kinks ironed out.

Again, feel free to get one and find out for your self assuming you can easily afford it.

Also I think best buys, maybe, have it demoed out on their floors might be worth a shot trying to find one.

PS4 Pro/Neo's GPU is roughly equivalent to the GTX 970.

With console style optimizations and PSVR's lower resolution, I am sure the PS4 Pro/Neo will run VR just fine. The bigger question is software support.
