Been watching a few streams of it.
Game definitely looks awesome. More actiony than DS, combat is faster and less defensive. Lots of Souls mechanics all over the place but also a lot of differences.
There are different battle stances and unlockable moves in a sort of skill tree, that combined with like 5-6 different core weapon types makes for very rich combat, tons of move sets and combos and what not.
Game seems to be broken up into missions which are basically just levels. Each mission is its own little world separate from the others. Lots of exploration and hidden stuff in each mission. Completed missions can be replayed to grind upgrades or level ups.
I'll seriously consider getting it, however the only downside to me personally is that the whole samurai/feudal Japan setting has never done anything for me ever, quite the opposite in fact. I've never found Far Eastern themed games particularly appealing.
