Just a heads-up: the new Zelda dungeon maker feature is extremely limiting. We're a long way away from a full feature Zelda Maker. I think most people who might buy the game know this already and it's been well covered in reviews/critiques/etc.

Normally I wouldn't think this was a big deal, except that the dungeon maker is integrated too much into the main quest. It would be better as a side feature. Example: whereas in the 1993 game I might get a heart piece for finding a secret in the main quest, now I might instead get a "dungeon slab" (a building block for the dungeon maker).

Yeah that's how I meant it. It opens up after you beat level 3, and then as you complete more dungeons, those dungeons' rooms are added to your available options in the dungeon maker. You can't design your own rooms; you only reuse previous rooms that you've encountered in the main game. There are some pretty cool features to it (i.e. try to complete your designs with only 3 hearts), but yea, it's by no means the equivalent of Mario Maker for Zelda.

Currently dealing with an issue where my Switch turns on and shows a blank black screen. Anyone dealt with this before?

Additional info:

-I hadn't touched it in a month or so prior to this
-The battery got completely drained since I last played it
-I lost the charger for it and bought a replacement at GameStop
-I plugged in the new charger and left it to charge for a few hours
-Since then, I have tried resetting it (by holding down the power button for 15 seconds) but the issue has not been resolved

This guide (https://en-americas-support.nintendo...rom-sleep-mode) suggests that the charger may have caused this issue. Should I buy a new charger directly from the Nintendo store?

Don't have the stand in my apartment currently (will hunt it down if it comes to that). I've been using the Switch primarily as a portable gaming device.

Nintendo has Animal Crossing coming out next week and then very little on the schedule after that. Very strange. I assume some announcements will be made soon.

Currently playing Fire Emblem. Took me a couple hours to get into it but now I'm addicted. So good.
