Nintendo DLC has been good/worth it so far. You can look at both for comparison

I picked up Mario Rabbids. Its far better than it has any business being, and actually pretty fun. Don't think I'll go for the DLC unless it really hooks me as the worlds progress.

It's really good. At first it feels like a casual XCOM, which is not bad at all, and it becomes its own thing when the difficulty ramps up. It's more like a puzzle game imo. I'm only at world 2 but it seems like there's a lot to do for completionists.

Finally got around to playing. Not being able to tilt the camera is itself very tilting. No way to adjust the speed the camera moves? What is this, 1995?

Remember how in Zelda and Mario 64 you could tak the z trigger to square the camera on the way you were looking? Where did that go?

As for the game itself, feels a lot like Mario kart. So many blue shells all the time. Can't count how many times - in just one play session - my characters did the exact minimum of their damage range to leave an enemy at 1 HP, thus making me take an extra 50+ damage. NOT CHEAP AND INFURIATING AT ALL.

No clue what strategies should be used for weapon upgrades. At least they have a little explainer for what the ultimate or whatever they're called are.

What? Most of the time you dont need the rng to win and if you do get screwed you can restart the short battle for free. If you think this game is cruel or frustrating you should try XCOM ironman.

They were around last time it came up, it probably got tiring when they figured out people know what a Pi is and still don't care.

I got the snes, waiting for that hakchi.

Good for Nintendo for not price-gouging on the NES and SNES Classic.

To those who bought those systems at $59 (NES) and $79 (SNES), would you have also bought the systems if they were instead $79 (NES) and $99 (SNES) ?

Picked up an SNES Classic at the Nintendo Store yesterday. Had to wait in line for about 2.5 hours, but they must have had a couple thousand units in stock since they were able to sell them all day without running out.

They require matching ID and credit/debit card and only allow one per person for 2017, so good attempt by them at fighting scalping. Seems like Nintendo was actually able to deliver on quantity for this launch.

I set my alarm to go to Target when it opened since I live two blocks away, but was too tired and was kinda on the fence about whether I want it anyway.

In related news, they finally announced that the Wii (original) Virtual Console store is closing in January of 2019. But you can't load money on after March 18th-ish 2018. I may have to get that Princess Blob adventure game and one or two more that are not available elsewhere.

If and when the same thing happens for Wii U and Earthbound Zero has not been announced for other consoles yet, I'll have to buy them.

After the store closes in 2019, you won't even be able to re-download the games again, if you don't have them on your console they are gone forever. It sucks that this is inevitable for all consoles evenutally and that's why I think emulation is so important, without it a lot of games are lost forever.

Which is why it is so scary to so many if steam ever closed its doors.

Another one along those lines. Buzz doesn't look as good as Woody due to currently being limited to the same number of polygons as the original model, but it is still pretty awesome.

Stardew Valley.... in 2 days!

Golf Story is very good and I'm not an RPG type of person at all. If you enjoyed the Mario Golf on GBC then you'll like it. I've also read that if you like Stardew you'll like Golf Story as well but I haven't played Stardew.

There’s apparently a Harvest Moon tonight, the same day Stardew Valley releases. What are the odds?
