A little underwhelming but man Mario looked ****ing rad, I'm so excited for that. Definitely grabbing one on launch because I'm a Nintendo white but Zelda, puyo puyo and Bomberman are so far only launch games I want.
As someone with no interest in the portability or motion control aspects at all, the vast majority of it was pretty meh.
If I were to get one I'd get it for real games, that I'd play it on my tv, while sitting on my couch, with the real controller, just like I have for the past 30 years. So basically the Mario's and Zelda's and such.
Those joycon controllers seem ultra tiny to the point of being very annoying to use. I mean, Japanese people aren't known for their big hands and it looked crazy small in that guys palm.
I guess the whole playing digital rock paper scissors or boxing stuff is supposed to be recapture the Wii party game phenomenon.
Pretty hype, but the paid online service is a bummer and Mario can easliy slip to 2018. Planning on holding off, but they might get me with plenty of stock at brick and mortar stores where I can impulse buy.
Mario in New York... Both the Mario Galaxies were two of my favourite games; not sure I've ever grinned so much whilst playing a game! Not bothered about Zelda. I like the look of the portable bit if it has reasonable battery life and the framerate isn't noticeably bad.
Other games I would like to play:
Tennis game
Space flying game
Donkey Kong Country 3d
Mario Kart
