Obv will get BotW and SMO. What else? I've played Kart and not really that interested, probably will buy SMP and Smash when they come out

What about Indies? Will get Overcooked because it's awesome. I hear Golf Story is good as well?

If not got on other systems or double dip for portable: skyrim, doom, rocket league.
Arms, splatoon 2.
Indies, sonic mania, spectre/shovel Knight
Have played about 20 mins on rabids, each to its own.

Yeah Earthbound might be my favorite game of all-time and all of Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, FF 3 and 5 (I think? Might be 6 instead of 5), the Suikoden series, and Super Mario RPG would all get spots in my top 50 for sure if I was to make a list so I figure there’s no chance I don’t love it.

Would pay heaps for an Earthbound or SMRPG reboot ainec.

If you have a PS4 you can buy a USB dongle and use it. That's what I use.

Though I may grab a Pro Controller as well since it's kind of a pain unpairing and pairing the PS4 controller back and forth

They're not the most intuitive devices to set up (just read the included directions & you'll be fine) but I'm pretty satisfied.

I still use the default joycons as that's what I originally used for >200 hours of BoTW and am now naturally most comfortable with, but if you want extra controllers for, say, when folks come over and play Mariokart, the knock-offs are perfect.

Related question: just bought pre-order of the smash bros console and am getting the adapter for GameCube controllers

I have 2 Wii u pro controllers already - get 2 dongles for those or buy a new switch pro controller? Input lag, compatibility and ease of use are my main concerns. Plus 2 > 1 for less $.

So, Super Mario Party seems like a blast and the first good MP game since... 7? 6?

but **** me, buying that + two additional joy cons is expensive. Its like 80 bucks for two more joy cons.

My buddy preordered MP and got Switch Online with expectations that he'd be able to play with friends cross country, full game, etc.

He's livid that apparently you can only do minigames with one other non local player. No full game.

Was this how it was advertised? Others experiencing the same thing?

Is it possible to save a mario party (board game) in progress? Close the game and come back to it another day? Have the game seems you can't - which is odd.

Finally jumped in with the console + Mario Kart bundle today. I assume Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey are must-buys? Disappointed to see no first-party games on sale, but I guess that's standard for Nintendo.
