Level 40 is the first one that's been a doozy. Short platforms = mash the action button, just a matter of getting the timing and looking ahead.

I assume I am much worse than the average. Not sure how many times I tried getting the third shard on the second stage by a control gravity button/stick that didn’t exist - but it was more than I care to count.

Thanks man, it's cool to read that, I appreciate it. Honest feedback is the best feedback so if something is **** it might not be fun to hear but it will always help, we're actually pretty surprised at people being so positive towards it on console.

Don't feel bad about the diamond on level 2, a few people at the publisher didn't like it either but the level is so simple I didn't really have anywhere else to put it haha.

Yeah level set 4 is where the difficulty starts to ramp up and the next sets start to introduce the new mechanics. I tried to put a couple easier levels in between the harder ones in the later sets so people don't feel too overwhelmed but not sure how effective I was at that.

If I do have one nitpick it’s that the default after you hit the goalpoint after the end of a level or by accident before getting all three shards is to move to the next level rather than to replay it.

That’s really the only thing I saw that I disliked but it’s not a big deal at all.

It is pretty amazing what you’ve done here with one button for sure.

We didn't even think about after the mobile version. Originally on mobile we had it on replay during closed beta but we could check the analytics for that and most people were moving on instead of trying to crown levels so we made next level default and it just carried on from Switch. From watching some streams and seeing feedback it seems like people are going for crowns a lot more on console.

I haven't played video games in 15 years and then bought a switch and have been going crazy. Just bought Binding of Issac because of recommendations in this thread and Rayman Legends at Best Buy. Has anyone played Rayman?

I played Rayman Origins on Wii and really enjoyed it. I assume that is much the same.

Rayman Legends is fantastic, I can't imagine anyone who likes platformers not liking that game. Even if you don't like platformers I think you'll have fun, it's just really good.

Celeste is also awesome and yeah I was surprised at the price too but it doesn't look like it's hurt them at all. I do think it might be a little overrated with all the perfect scores it's getting but it's definitely a very very good game.

I have 2 keys for Super One More Jump for any regulars if they want to try it out. They are European only keys though so you either have to live there or make a new account that is based in a Euro country. It's pretty easy to do, I have accounts in all regions. Sorry can't get US keys because they go to press that will probably never redeem them. Anyway let me know if you want to try it out.

I almost picked up the Resident Evil Collections disk yesterday, glad I didn't. Revelations 2 is digital only and would require a new SD card (23.6 GB download). The first one looks better anyways and for $20 (12 GB) I'll be giving it a shot... haven't played a RE game since the original remakes on GCN, besides a few minutes of a 1st person shooter adventure that was on the 360.

I've also been eyeing The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+. $40 seems too steep for a souped-up rendition of the original, which sells for ~$7.

If you play it as much as I did, you'll be hard pressed to find a better value in $/hour.

Wrong thread but this is basically the Nintendo thread so whatever. Had purchased a Wii U to play BotW when it first came out. Thing was collecting dust for a while until I set it up again so I could play BotW Master Mode handheld while the wife plays normal mode on the TV and we can snuggle up and be gamer nerds together. Highly recommend.

Been playing thru earthbound lately on the Wii U VC and I seriously don’t recall VC having the option to do save states. When was that added and who do I fellate to give the appropriate thanks?

****ing genius addition to VC. That was easily one of the big things that made VC suck compared to emulators and now it’s gone. Woo!! Last dagger left to kill emulators for me is to have purchases work cross-platform in case my Wii U dies some day.

Anyway, point of this is how awesome it is to sit on the couch and farm the 1/128 gear and quickly and easily advance the RNG precisely to make getting it easier in the end. Found out farming Sword of Kings that even enemy movement that is teleportation advances the RNG, so basically my first twenty minutes were a complete waste. But oh well, good to know. I will have them all. I will.
