The Action Tracker is the main hub for all of the events that have taken place in the game. At any time, a user can go to the Pause Menu and have instant access to the amazing saves, spectacular goals and bone crunching hits that took place throughout the game.
The main purpose of the Action Tracker was to provide a great User Interface where users can navigate through all of the game’s events and instantly see the replay of that event with one button press.
Nah, the main advantage is so that when a game is over, you can access all the highlights of the game. In NHL '11, it was just a random "TOP 5 HIGHLIGHTS" which consisted of only plays from the last 6 or so mins of the 3rd. If you scored an unreal goal in the 1st period, you couldn't go back and save it/upload it to EASportsWorld to share with others.
New to EASHL in NHL 12, we have implemented a club cool-down period to help combat cheating by “Club Hopping”. When leaving a club, you will have to wait a specific amount of time before you are able to join or create a club. The reason we are implementing a club cool-down period is to try to cut down on win trading via club hopping. Implementing the club cool-down is to discourage people from jumping Club to Club. I know this may affect some users who are legitimately trying to go from Club to Club, but this is something we will monitor when the game goes live. The screenshot says a three hour cool-down, but this number will change by the time we launch.
I couldn't care less about this change. I tend to wait for some friction to build on the team, then I switch teams a month or two after the game comes out.
have you guys been watching the EA videos for hockey Legends? Off the top of my head: Gretzky, Lemieux, Howe, Chelios, Roy, Rocket Richard, Ray Bourque, Steve Yzerman, Roenick...
I'd much rather see historical teams on there instead of individual legends ala Madden. Playing as the 92' Pens against the 08' Wings or something would just be awesome.
I'm trying to think of when I would EVER use this. After I got into 1v1 online, I see no point of playing offline mode. Unless you're completing challenges to unlock stuff for Be a Pro

here are a few things our club has come up with that we'd like to see in nhl 12, what you guys think?
-would it be too much to ask to have like "classes" in the edit attribute section.....
so if you want to tweak your guys puck control and slap shot power a little bit you dont have to ****ing add all the points to EVERY SINGLE OTHER CATEGORY lasjdflkajsdflkjasdf
-when in the open practice mode with your teammates, you can just join with out everyone having to quit and go back in it and start again, so ****ing lame seriously
-make it so the defense doesnt literally stand there on breakaways...would be nice i suppose
-have the computer make faster passes because 95% of the time they pussy pass it to you and never gets to you, and the other 5% they ****ing whip it 80mph and it goes way past you
-when you call for the puck from computer, have them pass it to where you are/going to be rather than where you just were ****ing 10 seconds ago!!!!
-when you call for the puck from the goalie on the RIGHT SIDE OF HIM because there is a player from other team coming on the left, have the goalie pass it to you rather than to the other ****ing team on the clear opposite side of where you are!!!
im sure we will all get this anyways but for **** sake come on
