I proprose merging all fighting games in a megathread, the street fighter thread for exemple.
Never been a fan of MK franchise but my ressentment is from MK1 and 2 back in the days.

I've played a bit of MKX and the gameplay is infinitely better than the old school MKs. I don't particularly like the gimmicky nature of it (ie you can pick one of 3 types of each character) but it's fun enough. Still much prefer the SF series

The game is currently the top game on twitch for it's launch.
I didn't expect that for a fighting game.

It certainly looks great now, also very gore and brutal

Even without being a fan I'm really glad the genre still exist and kicking, I spent years on SF2 and KoF.

Well... this game is in EVO 2019 (which is taking place this weekend in Las Vegas, NV)!!!

It's essentially the world championships for fighting games.
