ha also, last night i was splaying w/ my friend and we were both 19-0 and winning 7400-3000 so we just decided to camp and get the flawless round. a guy jumps into the spot we are camping, knifes him for 19-1 and then i knife the guy to end the game at 20-0. my friend was pissed

was pretty solid ownage too.. was sitting in the middle roof on overpass and a guy I killed was spitefully running back to kill me, and he jumped back up right as my carepackage crate landed on the roof. wheeee.

Having some XBOX troubles that I can't find any information on: I can't seem to fined the best place for it. Standing up on my TV stand (which is just a wooden dresser thing), it is horrendously loud with the disc spinning, and I often get a "disc unreadable" error (disc is brand new after screwing up my old one). I tried laying it flat on the ground with game cases stacked under the center (so it's not right on the carpet), and with game cases on the edges (which didn't make sense to me since that's where the fans are, but read somewhere to try it). When it's in both horizontal positions, after playing a bit (not even a long time) it freezes, i.e., screen goes blank. I can still hear sounds, sometimes can still shoot and hear sounds, and can hear the center button sound if I press it, but screen remains in same spot and I have to restart. Neither problem happens in the other position.

Thoughts? XBOX just going? FWIW, I've tried loading the game to the hard drive, but whenever I do that and try to play I get a "disc unreadable" message instantly.

mine's probably more like 90%, and it certainly does matter sometimes..

I know a lot of the time I used to get myself killed trying to fool around switching to my secondary weapon when I should not have (speaking strictly about shotguns/handguns/machine pistols). Most primary weapons are good at any range (short, medium, long)... so there should be little reason to be using your secondary that much, unless it is a stinger/rpg or whatever. IMO the only time to use your secondary is when you run out of ammo with your primary and don't have time to reload, you certainly shouldn't be switching to your secondary in the middle of a firefight because you think it will do a better job or whatever... or even switching to your secondary before entering rooms or w/e.

Like having a shotgun equipped so you can own at short range is kind of redundant when you have an AR... I think most of the time you'd be better off just having your AR out the whole time and equipping an RPG or Stinger (this obv doesn't hold true for snipers).

duck behind cover while changing weapons? generally if i get myself killed while changing weapons it's because i'm charging blindly ahead in the middle of switching. if i'm paying attention i almost never die when switching. these are some big goddamn maps and there aren't that many enemies on them. it shouldn't be difficult.

also if you use pistols they switch very fast.
probably not the same guy. this guy was good but not amazing or anything. i killed him a bunch when he was on the other team.

Sometimes when running into close quarters I'll get out my shotgun as it's a one shot deal. There are many times I don't have it out and my primary doesn't take the enemy down fast enough before they can knife me, or get me first.

I've been liking the Raffica a lot. I was using it on Rundown in that middle building that overlooks the bridges. Go prone looking down the hallway so you can see all entrances, and people can't see you from outside so they just assume nobody is up there.

it was during SnD on SKIDROW (5v4), 2 guys had rushed the opening in the middle and got destroyed by my teammate. i realized i had my CP from the previous match so i ran back to spawn to throw it in. as i am running back my other teammate kills one of their guys at their spawn (meaning 1 guy was left). i call my CP in and have my back turned so i can see the hallway (where A is on domination), i see the plane come in on my radar and the game ends. killcam shows a guy rushing our spawn and the crate falling on his dome as he was ready to shank my ass.

I don't agree with this. Shotguns and akimbo glocks are good enough to be primaries and absolutely tear apart ARs in CQB. Obviously you don't switch if it's at all likely to get you killed but only using your AR is a leak IMO.

If swap time is hugely important to you then you can take G18s or rangers with an AR that has a lowish drop time. I look at the spas as more of an alternative primary where I'd use it for extended periods, maybe like half the time or something (obv depends).
