The best option would be dedicated servers. Consoles could benefit greatly from dedicated servers as well, which is why I'm curious to how Battlefield Bad Company 2 will implement them. Ever notice how if you play with local friends, you can get by without noticing major lag most of the time? Try playing with people from across the country in CoD (on consoles) and usually 1 person will be complaining. You get that jittery effect, where people run forwards then backwards and crap. That's due to how ****ty p2p is.
There's a gazillion advantages to having dedicated servers, but I need to bounce.
all i know is i am fine with dedicated servers as long as they dont suck as badly as the ones for socom on ps3 did when i tried that game
our pov's are just dif i guess... for me host migration is(should be :crosses fingers
smoother gameplay. where obv for you, coming from dedicated servers, it won't be.
anyway ill be so happy to get this game as long as i am not stuck with this pos std definition TV. contemplated moving my tv but it seems like too much work.
the entire game just feels different when switching from HDTV to a regular. i feel like im trying to manuever my character on a ball or something. i can't quite explain it but its throwing my aim off and when i increase sensitivity it just makes this awkward motion worse. wtf m8's
