I'm trying to request a repair online, and it's asking me to register it using serial #, so I keep putting the number in but since I already had it repaired once it keeps saying "This serial number is already registered!" No **** *******s. What should I do now?

Are there any good pre-order deals going around for the PC version?

BTW, I've only ever played FPS's on my PC. The only console I own is a wii, and I own Resident Evil 4, and thought that the way the wii does FPS was pretty good. But I don't think I could ever like playing a FPS with a controller. I would think aiming would be really hard.

I think Amazon and Walmart are giving away giftcards with preorders.

However, be warned that this won't be like other FPS games. Do you care about multiplayer? Did you play MW1? If you are used to playing MW1 or other FPS games, you might want to hold off on preordering and wait until you see how MW2 does.

If you only care about single player, go ahead with the preorder.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will have dedicated servers for the consoles. Depending on how they implement it, console gamers might realize what they have been missing out on. At the very least, they will be able to play with more than 16 players with better pings than the matchmaking gamers with 8 players.

I think I screwed myself. I have release day delivery with Amazon for the Xbox version of the game and had it for Windows 7 yesterday and the stupid UPS didn't show up till around 3. What's the point of taking the day off if it isn't going to be delivered until 3?

it actually is compared to the way it works in 4. what is better waiting 3 seconds to resume play or having the map end entirely when the host lags out or leaves?
