He definitely seems to think he is too cool for school. Internets and real life are switched for him.

yeah i mean his claim to fame is being really good at cod4. this game is obv completely different and takes cod4 out of the spotlight. i could see him having irrational fears of the game for such reasons but maybe i am looking to far into things.

I suppose you're talking about Search & Destroy in which I think the footsteps are perfect. If you walk (not run) you barely make any noise at all. I think it's realistic and makes it more of a stealthy game mode ( which i love, hcsnd is all i play)

on average what percentage of people on xbox 360 use headsets?

pretty much anyone with a bunch of o's, i's or x's in their name

or any one word name, like freak, insanity, beast, etc.

i would say like 25% have good headsets, and alot more have the std one that comes with xbox

like 90% of people have them, but it really depends on time of day gametype ect.

People tend to use the headset a lot more when the game is new. if you like to chat a lot and aren't a douche people are more likely to talk.

To make a long story short i would guess ~30%

tbh if you are a douche you get more replies, esp in FPS's. trust me

Wait people wear headsets to be better at the game? I wear it to talk/yell at my friend and just yell in general.

I just got an Ear Force X41 and I keep owning myself by thinking I hear an enemy coming and it turns out to just be a teammate behind me. It is helping a little, but I definitely need to get used to it.

IDK about halo or anything since cod4 was my first xbl game but I remember when it first was released and the 2+2 clan had a waiting list. There was also some goofy guy that played quite a bit and was pretty baller. Whatever happened to him? That was back in the days of 2+2 private groundwar games with headshots only and pistols. I dont think I ever got a kill.

I think theres going to be so many people playing this game on here that theres just no way to limit them all to one clan. I think there should be several...based on how often you play. clan warz!

it would be pretty cool to have like a 3-4 clan competition where the losers have to post an avatar of the winners choosing for a month and the winners get a custom title.

If you don't play hardcore, then a quick glance at your radar should tell you if it's friend or foe. If you do play hardcore, then it's not really owning yourself...it's just being cautious.

Well, partly it is because I am ******ed but also I anticipate waaay too much where enemies are going to be based on a UAV sweep or a blip from gunfire. I guess I should just expect a teammate will cover my rear, but some people are so bad that we just end up both getting capped with nothing to show for it.

Also, I am definitely in for a 2P2 clan, but I think a friend and I are going to try to storm through the co-op mode in the first two days of release (**** yes for having Veteran's Day off) before we get heavy into the MP.

If I've learned anything from my golden marathon this past summer, it's that I can't count on randoms for anything.

Not sure if this has been posted or even if it's true, but here's a couple perk lists supposedly released by Activision. Some interesting stuff in there. I kind of wonder if this game would be better without stopping power and juggernaut. In COD4, I feel like I'm almost required to use SP unless I'm using a gimmicky class. Of course another perk would probably become "best in slot" as it were, but right now, as a non-hardcore player, SP is far and away the best perk for slot 2 imo.
