there is a glitchy part just outside the spawn portal but move a few blocks from that and it should be ok.

Plus it seems you can remove blocks in that area but not place them. That could be problematic.

^^ This, even if you're far from home just keep a chest around.

Regardless with fortune picks a stack of diamonds isn't even all that many.

What texture packs are ya'll using? I use, and love, Minecraft Enhanced, but it looks like the guy who makes it has given up on it since it hasn't been updated since 1.1

Built a golem defense house for zombie raids. The idea was to have a lever inside that would activate pistons and push the pumpkins to the middle of the iron "T." After it was completed, I figured out that the pistons just break the pumpkins.

I added some bookshelves last weekend to the Enchanting Block On A Hill that I randomly stumbled upon past the desert next to spawn, /warp enchant iirc (maybe /warp enchanting?)

Is it pretty much mandatory to have a fortune pick while mining now? (or stupid not to?)
