we use a no damage mod because we never wanted mobs on (server was intended to have no mobs), but the majority wanted them on.

it creates a happy middle ground. people who want mobs get them, people who dont wanna die and lose their **** cause of a random spider, get no damage

Doesn't seem right though. I've been on the server from Day 1 and I don't remember anybody rejecting the idea of turning mobs on. I don't care if they are turned on or not. We always keep it daylight and I don't go cave exploring that much, but when I do mine, I need light anyways. Plus, having mobs on makes finding the caves easier since you can dig towards an area where monsters are at. In turn that makes finding coal/ores much, much easier.

Also, using a no damage mod and a speed mod (whatever else is used) was never mentioned until now meaning that someone has been keeping it a secret as if nobody would ever find out.

And I don't mean this in any negative way, but don't you think that when someone uses a /give command to build stuff and hopes that nobody realizes it, that someone is hiding that? What else is being hidden?

I don't use any mods, I take damage, and I've only died a handful of times, mainly due to my fault -- having low health and not coming up from underwater soon enough, falling off of ladders, accidently falling off of high columns that I'm using to build something, riding other people's rail systems and falling through holes, etc.

But to finally get outed where it's an issue and then say "we never wanted mobs" or "mods were always allowed" etc. etc. is just an excuse to try and lessen the fact that someone was attempting to hide something and was now caught.

BTW, you might as well put in some command to never turn it night because it's starting to become a pain making it daytime every 5 mins.

1. it was never ever kept a secret. was simply a "no one asked" kinda thing. me n spraggy openly speed about the server (me especially since i cant /warp or /spawn)

2. i specifically said i didnt want mobs, but didnt make a big deal out of it because like i said, the majority of people wanted mobs on.

3. i dont think theres a plugin to keep day on constantly

At least specify everything openly and clearly so everyone knows what the rules and regulations of the server is.

Whether intentional or not, the stuff that's happening now just seems shady.

Agreed - Could everyone who uses cheats put up a sign next to their buildings/creations so I'll know whether or not I should be impressed, please?

I was on performance enhancing drugs while building some things - otherwise it is all legit. This includes the four-minute ride minecart track I just built that ends in your mine MinusEV (by accident I promise ).
