Do you know about the nether railroad we have set up? It's only got like 4 stops on it now (unless other ppl have been updating it in recent weeks), but you might try adding to that. Certainly faster to build a railroad 130 blocks in one direction instead of 1000.

Lol, I will, but it may look a little shoddy to begin with while I go out and mine resources. At least I've got my spawn reset to there now. That way when I mess up and plummet to my death I don't have to spend 10 minutes running back over there each time....

Hey all, just got the game and came across this awesome thread. I have been told that the 2p2 server is at 2p2.provisionhost.com would it be possible to get added to the whitelist.

I had a browse of this thread but cant find any rules / guides etc... is there anything that is a must read before joining in?

We do have sort of a rule that we should not venture out further than 1000 in any direction from spawn (hit f3 to see your coordinates - it's the x and z coords to the left), but its been done a few times. We need to keep some 'unexplored' country so that the new content in 1.9 and above will have a place to generate so for now, we should not walk too far away.

Don't break/steal others stuff obv - other than that, just have fun, I think

Oh, and you can lock containers (ovens, chests) and doors by making a sign and putting it on them - it will mark it as private with your name and only you can open it.

Cobblestone factory can be made with 2 buckets of water and a bucket of lava. No wire needed.

I'm a big fan of the 4 block generators though to guarantee continuous digging. There is a gap sometimes with 2 block ones.

Haha, thanks, but that isn't what I was going for. What I'm building uses pistons to crush the cobblestone continuously and can be turned off at the flick of a switch, no digging required( meaning no using up your pickaxes). If I can't get it to work I'll put a generator similar to what's in the links there like I had before.

I was trying to figure it out myself through trial and error, but I guess I'll poke around youtube a bit.
