yeah, I could see it happen occasionally but needs a lot of weird **** to happen(i guess you have no creatures and draw enough removal to keep their board clear)

splashed black @ sb for doomblad & sign in blood if player wasn't black
I know its really hard to get card advantage in M10, but splashing a BB spell seems awful, doom blade is obv a great splash card

The best decks tend to be the black decks that open good. If you open 2 Dread Warlock in a M10 sealed it is very hard not to go 3-1. Black with any color other then green tends to be good. The format is very creature light and a lot of decks tend to run less then 15 creatures.

I am convinced that GW is the worst color combination in M10 sealed it always looks promising and a lot of people play it, but if you watch replays GW decks almost never win and rarely even go 3-1.
I guess you never had Overrun in your pools, Overrun ends more games than any uncommon in the format

Yes, overrun is a bomb, but you can't count on it to win games for you. Generally you need to already be in a winning position or at least a long term stall for it to be useful. And even then white and blue have easy answers for it and black and red will never let you get a clogged board in the first place with a ton of removal. Green has the worst spells which means Green decks cannot really deal with fliers or the ground unblockables and most decks will have card advantage on them.

Green is designed around having good creatures to make up for the lack of spell support, but in M10 Greens creatures are all outclassed by other colors creatures of the same mana cost. Green really needs six or seven mana before it can even play a card that is a threat to anyone and by that point the opponent will generally have the game locked up.

Also fireball is the uncommon that ends the most games.

go go gadget fireball all the way. I usually avoid green like the plague unless I get a bunch of centaur courser. my favorite deck when it's available is u/r control. also, capricious efreet is absurd and people ship it late. cappy is <3. that all being said I hate M10 and am glad it's over. I am not playing in the make-up champs, I'm taking the ME3 slot instead

Of the cards that are in Shards block or M10, the only regenerating creatures that are even marginally playable are Cudgel Troll and Kathari Remnent.

glorious charge seems to be by far the weakest card in the deck

wall of faith is good here, you have a simple strat, stall till your 4/4 fliers win for you

Downloaded and registered for magic online last night but haven't played a game yet, can anyone tell me how long a draft takes or a sealed tournament takes?

serpent might be a better wall than wall of faith

so I think I wouldnt run cleansing and the walls and run illusionary and both unsummons? play all offense?

third edit - or play more walls and cut the charge

i took out a drake. when siding ended up making it even more controlly and less aggressive with additional walls. won r1/r2 but seem to be about to lose to MBC in final.

don't get it, wind drake is 5x better than charge(it sucks, especially if you remove one of your few early drops)

I'd only run charge in hyper aggro soldier decks(which probably sucks balls as a strat)

hate this plan, do you really want a deck that auto scoops to blinding mage or pyromancer? when you have 4 very very strong mid/late game cards

I think drafting takes about 30-40 minutes, deckbuilding is about 10 minutes, and each round is 40-50 minutes. If you play a Swiss draft, you play all three rounds. If you play a KO draft, you play until you lose a match (so you play up to three, but as few as one).

Anyone going to be at the Cincinati PTQ this weekend? If so, do you happen to have Baneslayer Angels I can use? I would be forever grateful.

I take out a charge and put in the other servant. Those cards pwn the **** out of people early on, and you have 2 ice cages, a cancel, a divination & a ponder to take care of something like a mage or tim.

I dont even think you need 2 walls, personally. An unsummon to save somelike like Djinn, Serra or Air elemental may be useful.

LOL wow. I wanted a cheap Extended deck to play online, saw that Restore Balance deck on Wizards Build for Cheap column, made it for 4 Tickets and wow. Haven't lost yet. Deck is so fun to play, people go WTF at me just playing Borderposts for the first few turns. 90% I get an instant concede when I play any of my Cascade spells and they see what pops up.
