Going to start drafting on MTGO tomorrow. Best place to get cheap tickets to just draft every so often? How many should I buy?

I'm pretty sure there are a few people in the mtgo classifieds that take pokerstars/fulltilt transfers for tickets at a decent rate. Haven't tried yet but that's probably a pretty good option.

How do you pay the people? Whats a good price on Tickets I can expect in classifieds? Is it much more complicated than buying right from Wizards?

How easy is to sell back cards you don't want from drafting?

You pay less per ticket if you pay in stars cash from someone rather than $$ from wizards.

All the guys who have a ton of tickets dont have a way to "cash out" through wizards, so you get a discount for providing them $$.

How can this ****ing program still be this ****ty after all these years? I get randomly disconnected again, though the program doesn't tell me until AFTER I get the game loss. GFG.

I know this, but are there bots or whatever that you can just buy discounted tickets from?

How does this M10 draft/build look? Maybe should have played Silvercoat instead of Ponder or Charge or something?

Is there a list of good bots to trade/buy from/sell to?

Just try a few out and see. Most I've used are pretty decent, and the bad ones are easy to spot. Take a few sample hot cards that people are selling and see what the bot gives. If they match, there's a solid chance that the bot is in-tune with market prices.

@Perplexity: you're a bit light on playables. Glorious Charge definitely doesn't fit in the deck and should be replaced with Ponder.

Wall of Frost, Wall of Faith, Horned Turtle. Pick 2, especially since White Knight fills the role of "wall" quite well.

Your deck isn't bad, but it's hard to see how you would actually win the game if serra goes down.

Wall of faith is disgustingly bad. I would probably cut the turtle and the wall for ponder and silvercoat.

play RDW if you don't know any standard decks

you should play it anyway since it's good vs. the 5cc decks that everyone plays

When drafting how good does a rare have to be to pass on a great uncommon?

I had a pack with Serra Angel and The Petal dual land, and took the dual. Looking back seems like an error, but There has to be a point where you draft the rare if its that good. Thoughts?

The goal is to beat the rake, just like poker. Let that drive your decisions.

Usually drafting the money cards (usually if its worth half your draft or more, pick it) is the right way to do it. (Unless you're money drafting obv).

Serra Angel is good, but your deck can survive without her.
