Yeah that deck seems insane, you have so much removal and bounce, it would be nice to have another big creature to win with but its very solid as is.

I'm going to test it with the Sandstalkers, and if I feel I need something else big, I might replace them with 2 more Hordes or go with 3 Rathi Dragon's instead of the Hordes.

So, I've been playign draft till you drop at the store, and my last draft, I play this guy in the first round. He's a friend, and I helped him with his deck.

His 5-drop spot was:
The 4/4 first strike celestial purge guy
2 Serra Angel
1 Baneslayer Angel
2 Overrun

He also had 3 Rampant Growth and 2 of the new Civic Wayfinder

My deck wasn't bad, since it had Siege-Gang, 3 Tims, 2 Orcish Artillery, and a Fireball, but his cards were better.

I also opened a pack with Earthquake, Fireball, and Serra Angel, first pack. What do I do?

sick first pack. probably ship the 2 red cards but it's gross either way. the next cpl best cards are probably relevant

Fireball I think because its the strongest card (can just end games) and you can splash it any deck, then Serra Angel because you neighbour would take Fireball and probably go red, then Earthquake.

what if were both less than one? or one of runs out of cards? thanks btw.

If your opponent is below 1 life, he's dead, unless he also has a platinum angel. If you can't draw, you don't die and keep playing, if platinum angel leaves play, you'll die the next time you'll try to draw a card.

If you both have a platinum angel and are both on less than one life then neither of you loses. If both platinum angels leave play at the same time, for example via a Wrath of God, the game is a draw (it's not tiebreak on who has the least negative score!).

If you are forced to draw a card with platinum angel in play and don't have any cards in your library then you still don't lose the game. If both of you have a platinum angel in play, no cards left in your library, and no way to remove the opponent's platinum angel, then the game is a draw in paper magic and sadly on Magic online someone will eventually lose on time

all of them just end games, there aren't many fliers in m10 so I think Quake is the best card, but I'd be tempted to take Serra Angel since red is only good if you get a bunch of the super strong uncommons

thank you both for ur answers.

Agree Quake is the best card.

Quake can function as a fireball if you have more life than your opponent, which happens semi often, since you are usually just fireballing once your opponent stalemates the board.

M10 seems to make a lot of ground stalls, plus you can easily splash quake. Angel sets you into white quickly. Passing fireball isnt going to put your neighbor automatically into red since it is so easily splashed.

Having such a hard time with drafting. Hopefully when M10 releases online drafts will become beatable for some time.

2 Questions...

1. What are some good Anti-White/Green Sideboard cards besides Anarchy. Legacy Format.

2. My friend is building a Survival/Nightmare deck, What are some good creatures besides Man O'War, Ukatabi Orangutangs, Nekrataal etc to put in it? Whats a good site to look for newer decklistings for this type of deck?

1: Deathmark is good against green/white. I think you were building Sligh though? It really depends on what type of green/white it is.

2: I dont think people really play legacy survival any more. If you have an idea of a certain utility you need, that might help with suggesttions more.

A lot of people play Sulfuric Vortex against G/W's annoying crap like Kitchen Finks. Some also play Proclastic Pillar, to make games end really soon.

I am building Sligh, most of my friends for some reason are playing G/W and are including anti-red cards in their decks because of mine, so I'm just trying to see what else besides Anarchy I could use.

2. I'll let him know, but he said he was just looking to update Seldens 98 WC deck.

I know pacifism and doom blade are in the same part of the run in M10 after getting a grand total of 0 in 20packs of sealed/2HG last week was pretty damn annoying to not have access to the best 2commons in the set

its way too much work to memorize print runs though
