Playing live so its ok. But wow Razormane is pretty sick too. Ranger of Eos is good but a bit expensive, I suppose if I have Honor out its worth it.

Empyrial Armor seems kind of counter productive as WW usually empties its hand very fast no?

voice of all is another option if your friends are playing monocolored decks

Whats the name of the White removal that lets your opponent put a tapped land into play from their deck?

Yeah, Empyrial Armor kind of sucks if you draw it in the late game unless you have extra Plains/Tithe in your hand. If you draw it early though you can hit for 9 on turns 3 and 4. It will end the game really fast if you go t1 1 drop, t2 2 drop (preferably guy with protection from red or black), t3 Empyrial Armor, t4 Armageddon or whatever. I wouldn't use it in a fun game with friends though, because it can be seen as annoying and luck based. I used to play Brian Hacker's 1998 World Championship deck and it was beastly, but that was many years ago.

17 Plains

3 Nomads en Kor
3 Paladin en Kor
4 Soltari Monk
4 SOltari Priest
1 Soltari Visionary
4 Soul Warder
4 Warrior en Kor
4 White Knight
1 Aura of Silence
4 Cataclysm
3 Disenchant
4 Empyrial Armor
4 Tithe

Sb
3 Abeyance
2 Armageddon
3 Aura of Silence
3 Cursed Scroll
1 Disenchant
3 Spirit Link

Yea, I love that deck, but I want to try and use White Knights, Pump Knights, Lions etc instead of shadow and en Kors. Also I can use Swords and he couldn't.

I wonder if Cataclysm is better than Armageddon for this deck? Forgot about Tithe, Love that card, I guess that works with Cataclysm well.

Soltari Visionary will be perfect for 3 casting cost as my opponents play a TON of enchantments.

I'd go BG +splash Pacificm, your black is pretty sick (2x Nekrataal... Yesplz) and green supplements the card advantage plan nicely with Climbers, Wayfinder and few large creatures.

expertly built imo. obv black is nuts.

splashing for one pacifism isn't worth it when you already have 2 nekrataals and 2 afflicts. About the only thing I do is -1 Mind Rot +1 Lumengrid Warden because creature count is low and you may need to stem some early beats

What format?

People used to use Lightning Greaves to make it untargetable.

In constructed, I really dont think its too playable, especially since doom blade kills her while terror didnt.

Yes, you keep playing. And continue keeping track of life total, even if it goes negative. If the Platinum Angel leaves play, and your life total is less than 1, you lose then.

It is a set of cards you can put into your deck after game 1 in each round.

In constructed, you have your 60 card deck, and you are allowed to have an exactly 15 card sideboard. After game 1, you can put any number of cards from your sideboard into your deck, as long as you take an equal amount out of your maindeck. You can also search for cards with the Judgment wishes from the sideboard in tournament play.

In limited, your sideboard is every card you're not playing in your maindeck. After game 1, you can put any number of cards from the sideboard in, and take as many frmo your maindeck out, as long as your deck is at least 40 cards (it doesn't have to be the exact same size, like constructed).

What part of the wishes did they change in M10? Was it you cant search for cards in "exile" now, but still can search the sideboard?

kyle: Is Platinum angel really good enough for constructed? Seems too fragile to me, shrug.

You only have 10 creatures in the deck and 9 of them cost 4cc+.

I'd go BG to give you access to some decent creatures at 3cc and even some decent first and 2nd turn plays. Also gives you access to 2 more sources of acceleration to get to your 4cc and 5cc cards (llanowar, rampant, mind stone).

Plus if you play green, you get access to 2 more mana fixers for a total of 3 (rampant, civic, terramorphic expanse). This will allow you to splash another color with only 2 (maybe even 1?) off-color basic lands. You could splash blue for aven fisher and snapping drake, or white for pacifism, maybe benalish knights and windborn muse.

You don't need to play mind rot or splash counsel since you have 2 nekrataal, 2 kavu climber, graveborn muse, civic (and aven fisher if you splash blue) all of which net you card advantage while accomplishing something else as well. Not to mention cantrips like 2 afflict and recover. Even mind stone won't cost you a card.

I'd cut highway robber too since there are better creature options in your green. Your high number of creature removal evens lets you play hunted wumpus with less risk than usual :P

yeah they got rid of the ability to get cards RFG(now Exiled lol) with them

only deck I remember seeing platinum angel showing up in was Tooth and Nail were you could grab it and Leonin Abunas at the same time

Now that I take a second look at it, yeah, your B/U is too weak in the early game.

I decided to go with blue because I looked at green and it was "eh."

I think the best choice here is Black-White.

Loxodon Mystic
Skyhunter Patrol
Cho-Manno
Windborn Muse
2x Benalish Knight
Pacifism
Ghost Warden
Icatian Priest

Removing all blue, replacing with white

Becomes a sort of slugfest where your deck has the advantage due to "an above-average quality of cards"

I have to disagree with going green because you get:

2 Kavu Climber.

Primarily.

That's about it.

And you get a couple cards that let you splash another color (rampant, civic)

Green doesn't have enough and if you're splashing another color with this green it gets a bit too dangerous of a mana base imo. Straight Black and then one more color is the way to go, and in this case, that's white.

No, it's not.

"Take it, put it in your deck, IT IS AWESOME" is a meme from MTGO. Some guy during the Mirrodin drafts said in the draft room:

"OH MY GOD"
"I JUST FIGUERD OUT SOMETHING ABOUT THE FORMAT"
"THE BEST CARD IS ....."
"FANGREN HUNTER."
"TAKE IT"
"PUT IT IN YOUR DECK"
"IT"
"IS"
"AWESOME"

Fangren Hunter is of course a 4/4 trample for 3GG.

Granted this was a swiss, but in my mind this is one of the worst decks that I feel I've drafted. Somehow it went 3-0 (6-2 overall). Basically games that had bombs dropped I lost. One was to Battlegrace Angel/MageSlayer combo and another was to Rafiq of the Many. Wall of Reverence definitely saved me a couple of times. Extractor Demon was good for 2 wins (Especially by putting Angel in the yard in Match 3 when I had to trade). I'd like to say I had a plan, but the artifact esper deck didn't come to be after my 1st pick (Sanctum Gargoyle over Wooly Thoctor/Hell's Thunder). I guess my strategy was survive and hope to win somehow.
