Plane and train tickets to play wow. Haha. I guess I've probably spent more than that (sigh) on mtgo tickets over the years but that sir is commitment.

Any ideas on Zendikar block decks? The format is basically vamps, UW control, and occasionally a boros/white wheenie/valakut or summoners trap decks. Mostly vamps and UW control tho. I was thinking of using nissa + river boa to take on the control decks. Add in some oracles, oran riefs, and round it out w/ another color. Maybe U?

i misbuilt my sealed deck some. i shoulve had bog tatters main for vamprie lacerator. could argue i should have 18 lands. but 10 round tourny have to get lucky to top eight so maybe wasnt a mistake. i boarded in the second grunts some it couldve been main too for sure. but ye i got a lot of removal and some sicko guys. hellkite mongrel is very good and quest for the gravelord. i started out 6-0 and then lost round 7 to some rw aggro draws then won next couple easy. top eight drafted a ub aggro deck. got first pick living tsunami and then got passed marsh casualties(big mistake, guy took a journey to nowhere over it. we actualy beat him round 1 and he made a facebook post saying he got unlucky to lose. lol.) got some welking terns and removal. deck was very solid and we didnt drop a game in top eight. san diego should be a lot of fun. i like the unearth dec a lot so far

What are the thoughts on this deck?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Iwxu2A93xQ

also talked about here:

It beats Jund a high % of the time, as well as Boros a somewhat decent %, I haven't tested against mill yet.

I've played a different version of the spreading seas deck and its fun but a bit too janky. Its especially bad if you're on the draw and you don't have a mirage/seas for your turn 2. Seems more like a fun deck than a tier 1 competitive deck.

Did Rob even do well in standard? That deck looks atrociously bad imo.

Had some fun drafting Zen in the last few weeks, but I am still always left feeling unsatisfied with what you get for your money.

When is a company going to come out with a compelling online TCG type game with a subscription model or something that is more reasonable than needing $14 worth of product to enter a 1-3 hour draft?

lol, won a draft with 13 creatures, weighing in with a combined power of 20, counting the raptors as 2/2's (no other allies).

Game Report - All rounds:
First turn - Kraken Hatchling (this guy is awesome in this format)
Next-to-last turn - Conquerors Pledge
Last turn - Bold Defense

The pile itself:
