I'm playing mid range golgari (go ahead hate me lol).
He is doing control things in general. However I managed to run him out of counters more or less and have also exiled 2 of his Teferi.
We get really late in game and he has drawn his deck almost. I have like 2 cards at this point. However he basically doesn't have a win condition left except put on the emblem and then cycle his last Teferi so he doesn't fatigue.
He is good gaming me/emoting like hell wondering why I haven't concede.
I play my last few top decks into what are obviously counters and use up the last 2. Got trough 4 sabatoges, 3 syncopates and 2 of the card that counters a 4 mana spell.
So I am down to last card and he starts cycling last Teferi and emoting. I slam down the trophy I have been holding for 4 turns and fatigue him.
Yeah for some reason the mtg emotes aren't as obviously sarcastic and trolly as in HS. Which is weird because they're basically the same. I think it's the way they're voice acted.
I've started muting my opponents at the start of all games.
Is that considered rude?
You can turn emotes off in the option altogether iirc. And I don't think it's rude. In Hearthstone where there was no option a lot of people just preemptively squelched opponents just so there was no BM.
All my gems are gone so back to the gold grind. Generally hate core set drafts and little experience with core'18. Any ideas what's best this 3rd pick pack 1?
pretty janky 7 win 4-color deck featuring a pack 3 bolas and symbiont after i was pretty heavily blue/white. Symbiont was pretty garbage in retrospect and often stuck in my hand, but bolas won me a few games.
He looks out of place but surprisingly "won" me 2 games by healing me just out of lethal range against boros that had beat me down early on before i stabilized. Agreed that he would probably be the first cut though, or maybe scholar of stars.
