Word is the official NDA will be dropping at some point in the next month or two, so you'll see streamers soon.
The biggest issue so far for me is easily the amount of time opponents are able to just sit there and not act. You'll always have to deal with fast vs slow decks, but someone being able to tank for quite literally 5 minutes deciding if he's going to mulligan or not can't make the final build. Rinse/repeat every time control passes to that player, which can be
very often.
As someone still essentially brand new to Magic, I found it pretty easy to pick up after getting dicked on the first day. I just went on the internet to look up a deck that doesn't suck and copied it as closely as my collection allowed. I've had fun since then, but a friend of mine who has collected MTG cards since the 90s told me, "Actually playing Magic is only fun for like a week at a time with long breaks in between." I'm about a week in right now. I gave an extra invite to that friend and he actually found it irritating to play within the very strict rules as to when things can or cannot be done as it relates to combat or the stack.
I won't comment on much else because I assume there are some big changes coming soonish.
