Backpack Hero has been sitting in my wishlist for a really long time and when it was announced as out of EA a few days ago, I picked it up.
It's kind of like a deck-building game, but instead of building a deck, you collect items into your backpack. You can expand your backpack for every level you gain and how you organize your items determines how effective they are. Effectiveness and synergy is based on what you carry and how you organize the items in your backpack.
It's really good - the story mode mixes dungeon runs with rebuilding a village and it's quite fun. The story mode seems perhaps a bit too easy, at least at the start (got about 6 hours in the game so far and only lost one run so far (and got really unlucky on that one)), but guessing it'll pick up as you get further in.
