Are they still jacking prices up right before the sale and then listing them on sale near the original sale price?

Four big sales per year, plus a number of smaller ones. Halloween is the next big one, but not as big as this one, Autumn, or Winter sales.

Most games will go on sale at some point between sales also. If there is something you really want, wishlist it and you'll get notified if it is on sale.

Nobody, with the possible exception of Sweeney, thinks epic is any competition to Steam or a threat they have to respond to.

A "business model" based on spending millions buying exclusives and giving away free games is pretty much out-competing itself in the long run.

On the front page the there are links to first 9 pages of this thread. That post was on the 9th page. I guess it is not impossible to think 9th page is the most recent page.

That's exactly what happened lol. I didn't saw it was from before 10 years ago at all.

EDIT: I was legit wondering why the hell these people still talk about TF2 and L4D2 in 2020.
