It's not just a slow trickle of people coming of age or slowly getting into a community - I just don't understand how that happens unless the same people keep buying it again for some reason (like cs-bans).
RPS had a weekly 'top ten sellers on Steam'-list going for years and GTA5 was, barring a very few weeks, always on the list somewhere. The last few years they just gave it a silly name, a screeenshot from another game and linked to a "what's something else you can buy instead of gta5'-product as a running joke because it was always there.
I think GTA5 is one of the very best games in the past decade - I just don't see how it constantly sold (sells) to a top ten every week for all those years since release.
