To be clear, I'm playing on Xbox - are you guys on PC? That's why I'm annoyed about the performance.

I imagine most people don't manage to find a way to die before the statue, but I did. It kicked me back to the menu and made me start a new game lol.

When you first get to the little village, there's the spout coming out of the ground that shoots up water. I thought it'd be fun to try to jump down it and see if the water shot me back out. The game thought otherwise.

I'm trying Shenzhen IO but I just can't be bothered to optimize in this game. Once a puzzle is solved i totally lose interest.

In infinifactory I went on an optimization spree, but here the game lost me. Kinda sad about it because that was the best part of infinifactory for me.

As or right now Infinifactory > SpaceChem >> Shenzhen

I have TIS and wanted to try it after Shenzhen, then I still need to buy Opus and Exapunks.

OPus is part of the xbox gamepass on PC. Can play it for $1 for the 1st month.

Epic games is just killing it with their free games right now.

This week they are giving away two games:
Moonlighter
This War of Mine (has been a game I've wanted to play for a long time but not sure I can stomach)

Next week (starting August 2nd):
Alan Wake
For Honor

These aren't just bottom of the barrel crap, these are all mainly very well reviewed and enjoyable games.

Oh man, if you haven't played This War of Mine just doooooo it. Easily one of my favorite gaming experiences from the past decade.

Do yourself a favor and don't read any strategy or guides. Figuring out the game is a big part of the fun.


Also, Alan Wake is definitely bottom of the barrel crap. It's been in a *lot* of bundles.

Since we're here in the St(r)eam thread, the obvious answer is a gaming pc - it's the best of all worlds unless there are any console-exclusives you'd like to play. And even then really only if there are playstation-exclusives since the xbox ones tend to be available on windows too.

It has the biggest selection of games, it works on any screen, it works with mouse/keyboard, controllers and VR.

Typically it's also cheaper since you can pick up a ton of games for a lot less than what they'd cost on a console.

It's basically all pros and no cons. Join the pc master race today
