Obra Dinn is really great if you like puzzles like sudoku or crosswords or whatnot. Very little hand-holding, the game does a good job of presenting the clues in a subtle way and letting you use your little grey cells to piece things together.

Interesting bundle on Fanatical, if you don't have any of the games it might be a snap buy.

I have Bastion to give away still. The Sexy Brutale is in the Humble Trove so if you have an active subscription you might get it from there.

Forgot to cancel my Humble Monthly so now have MGS V if anyone wants it...a friend said he’d take it but might not play it so would prefer someone who really wants it

Okay, who from this thread wrote this article? Please raise your hand!

How to use Google Earth VR with Windows Mixed Reality

Quote:
Google Earth VR is available for StreamVR and thanks to a recent update to Steam you can now get SteamVR on Windows Mixed Reality.

The first step is to install Stream for Windows and sign in to your account (create an account if you don’t already have one).

Then from the Stream Store search for and install Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR. You can then play games from Stream on you Windows Mixed Reality headset so search for and install Google Earth VR from the Stream store.

Wizard of Legend is such a bizarre marque title for humble bundle. Just like me, I assume most people haven't heard of it before today.

Epic Games just launched its games store and announced it will have a free game every two weeks. First two are Subnautica and Super Meat Boy.

What's fun is I just bought Subnautica for my kids for Hanukkah and gave it to them along with Super Meat Boy (which I've owned for years, as most of us have). So, my timing stinks, but at least we can get another free copy or two and everyone can have their own instead of fighting over my Steam account.

Cool I'll actually check it out to get subnautica

I'm irrationally upset that there are people ITT who have less than 100 hours in Subnautica let alone haven't gotten it yet.

so many games to play, so little time. Besides, I really don't like survival games yet I'm giving it a shot because of all the praise.

Another reason to support the Epic Store or whatever its called is the fact that they take "only" 12% cut from devs where Steam takes 30%.

Hopefully they do it right, they're in a pretty similar position to Valve in terms of putting out only a few very successful games with a lot of technical people behind the scenes working on stuff like licensed engines. uplay and Origin just exist to make Steam look good, Steam needs some competition. Last time I looked at GoG's storefront app it was still pretty terrible, I'm not sure they're even interested in moving beyond a niche distributor.

I don't see why GOGs storefront is terrible - it works just as well as Steam as a store imo.

Of course, they have a disadvantage in that they're only selling games willing to go drm-free. That may be, business wise, a disadvantage for them, but it shouldn't be anything any rational gamer (or rational non-gamer for that matter) counts as a negative.

Considering how much we owe Alterra the price of the game is irrelevant anyway.

At least there's always the view.

Now that the Epic launcher is the next big thing, that Shadow Complex key I'm still offering is worth big bucks.
