I don't get the people on Steam trades - they have these massive list of games that they don't want or will never play but they also refuse to trade them unless they get like the perfect deal. I got good offers last time because I had a Steam gift that had never been bundled but it seems like these bundled games will never move. There are like a zillion copies of Nuclear Throne floating around but I doubt I'll be able to get one for a different bundled game since it never goes on sale and those people subscribe to EVERY bundle.

In any case I'll have to clear out my Humble inventory soon, stay tuned!

Holy ****! That looks amazing! I have had this void in my life ever since playing Necromancer in Diablo II. I now regret my refusal to ever sign up for humble monthly...

Thanks for sharing I will have to get my hands on this sometime.

Something in particular you want? I appreciate pretty much all the regs in here, especially those who share keys, glad to pay it forward.

I did the steam trades thing a handful of times but so much time wasting and dealing with people who think they're on Pawn Stars was enough to make it not worth it for me. Unless you really want to save a couple bucks or enjoy the barter then I think you're better off just waiting for a sale/bundle.

I won the complete sega collection on steam gifts once though which was nice.

I think I bought that for $1 like 5 years ago. 50 titles correct?

No not the mega drive collection, it was every game on steam released by sega at the time. It was back when steam used to do publisher packs during sales.

I mean, you won't want to stop the game during a mission, but you can.

FYI many of you should be playing Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun (not currently on sale), because it's great. It's a real-time stealth tactics game (unlike Total War, not pauseable) where you control a team of elite operatives in samurai-era Japan and undertake a wide variety of missions (stealing things, assassinating people, fighting in battles, breaking out of jail, etc.). I never played it, but I see a lot of comparisons to the classic Commandos series. Anyways, it's extremely fun; the difficulty is quite hard, but there's a very flexible save/reload system that you are positively encouraged to use so you don't feel bad about it. The levels are varied, and some of them have interesting gimmicks (for example, in snow levels you leave footprints that guards will notice if they see them before they fade). The five characters you control are all distinctive, useful and flexible, and the levels are generally extremely open, with lots of different paths to the objective. Controlling all of your characters when you can't pause is part of the challenge, but there's a limited scheduling mechanic that allows you to queue up one action per character to be executed with a button press. It's inordinately satisfying to take out a group of overlapping guards by distracting one guy, then sending everyone else simultaneously from their carefully chosen hiding places to wipe out the rest of the group and drag their bodies to hiding before the distracted guy turns around. There's also lots of achievements, speedruns, hardcore modes, etc. for people who are into that kind of stuff. The story is nothing special, but it's well done and the voice-acting is fantastic. Highly recommended!
Also planning to pick up these two at some point, they sound like a lot of fun.

Deus EX: Mankind Divided is -70% 14,99€. 14,99€ is still a lot but I'm tempted to buy it because I enjoyed Human Revolution a lot! While going through reviews, I've seen micro transactions mentioned for this game. What are those? Are they mandetory to finish the game?

Microtransactions are items that you can buy to get some advantage or cosmetic stuff in games. It's usually just a couple bucks therefore it's called micro. The problem with those in single player games is that they can purposely make the game harder/annoying or probably even close to impossible to beat the game in most extreme scenarios so that you feel forced to buy something to get through a chapter. So no, you won't probably need them to complete the game, but there's a very thin line and such practice in my opinion shouldn't be supported. But it's your wallet and nobody cares about what you do with your money. Just like with preorders you'll find people defending it even though I also strongly oppose that and ask people to stop doing that since I believe it's hurting everybody in the long term.

Best microtransactions practices are those where they don't change anything in the game pretty much except for mostly cosmetic stuff, so Rocket League, CS:GO, Dota 2, Path of Exile and many more. I don't even mind loot boxes which get advantage of gambling nature of people.

cosmetic microtransactions ive never had a problem with. keeps everyone on the same playing field and doesnt affect gameplay. in fact i encourage them. keeps things interesting especially on games like overwatch.

R6:Siege is on sale too. Fantastic game fwiw, one of the best small scale/tactical FPS games and has seen a huge playerbase boost recently (peak is 65k on steam, but it's a uplay game):

Get it imho.

Important info regarding steam:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comme...name=frontpage

tl;dr you can get hacked if you just view someone's steam profile, so I'd say it's good to get familiar with the issue

Finished xcom 2 ( last months humble monthly ).

It fixed most of my issues with the first one, main one it didn't fix was 2 turns instead of time units.

Pretty solid xcom experience though.
