Anyone have a good recommendation for a game that I clean stop playing at any moment and be able to pick up again where I left off? Banner saga 1 and 2 were great but way too short.

Binding of Isaac? or the Xcom games. Hard to make suggestions w/o knowing what you've played b4 besides Banner Saga.

Isaac or any rogue like is a good suggestion but yeah hard to know what you like. Maybe try something like downloading mame to try and beat an arcade game in 1 credit? Shmups are perfect for me because no run lasts over around 40 mins and you can pick them and put them down whenever you want.

Xcom 2 is a "Stop and save any turn and pickup where I left off" type game.

I mean, you won't want to stop the game during a mission, but you can.

Thanks guys, given the discussion of xcom in this or another thread I thought it wouldn't be suitable, nice to know that it'll work. I'll probably give it a shot.

As far as suggestions: I love just about any game. Prefer fantasy/medieval genre but I'm game for anything.

I've played several Total Wars, the last one being the second one based in Japan. I'll look into if there's another one I haven't played which catches my interest. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for the other suggestions everyone, taking a look at all the games.
